Dirt or Paddles at Glamis??

I started out putting Haulers from Tim Kelly in Phoenix on. He swore up and down 26 inch were the ticket. I bought smooth on front and his 10 paddles 26.

I found out real quick there to small. I then tried to call him about getting 30s. He blew me off. Im not here to discuss my problems with Tim Kelly and his lack of customer support. So I sold them on Craigs list.

I then went to Utv inc and got shaved 30 inch mongrels and 30 in maxxis haulers from them. They were bigger then the 26 but not as big as other 30 tires out there that I have seen.

So ……….new years weekend on sat we decided to start at the flag poll and go to all the walls even the ones that were in the old closers.

Don’t get me wrong some of them are really steep. I had a hell of a time getting up them with 2 people in the car. I had other buddys with 2 seaters and 2 other turbo 2 seaters. The turbos went up pretty easy as did the the xp1 with stock tires aired down.
When I would sit at the bottom I could see were my tracks dug in more then the others. I tried airing down without much difference.

We had fun just running around and it dunes great.

So Im thinking of just running dirt tires aired down instead of paddles.

Anyone feel the same way??

I have 30 mongrels for the dirt but feal there to skinny for the dunes even aired down. I have method non bead locks.

Was thinking of selling all the tires and paddles and go with beadlocks and 30 inch dirt tires and air them way down.

Im looking for input on this. Im not looking for a vendor to just blow smoke at me. I want input from guys that are running dirt tires or changed to dirt from paddles.
