DCT Transmission

I was studying up on the dual-clutch transmission because I am considering it for my new ATV next year. I have seen a few diagrams, and it appears that the function of the twin clutches come in to play during gear-to-gear shifts. When you come to a stop, there apparently is a third clutch that disengages power between the engine and driveline. Am I correct about this? There are actually three clutches involved in the DCT design?
