Last week the Proctor family and a few friends called Buena Vista Colorado home base and rode for 6 days near Leadville, Buena Vista and Bonanza. The weather treated us well and a good time was had by all. Our group were all on side by sides except for the lone retired chopper pilot we happened upon in the high country. He managed to tolerate our slow pace and multiple stops at almost every mine building near the trail. No breakdowns or rollovers….just a few kids throwing snowballs.
