I’m still trying to decide what I want to do about tires and wheels for my 15 900-4 EPS. Tried searching but couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I’ve decided that I am most likely going with some Method 14" wheels, standard non-beadlock, just not sure about the tires. I think the stock Dirt Commander tires do pretty well for my type of riding, so I’m thinking of just getting them in a bigger size. I trail ride in NE OK with a mix of all kinds of terrain; hard pack, loose dirt, sand, some rocks here and there, and when I can’t avoid it, mud. I don’t seek out mud but it’s inevitable on most trails to have random water/mud holes on trails that you must cross. Don’t ride too fast, limited pavement, and no dunes. Also not putting on the miles like some on here so wear isn’t a huge concern. Clutch would stay stock for now but don’t have a problem doing a clutch kit soon if needed.
Here’s the few options I am looking at. Looking forward to some thoughts on these or other options. I’m new to the RZR world so any feedback is appreciated! The stock tires will be passed down to my 4-wheeler to upgrade the stock 25’s. It’s a win-win. 😀
1. 29" Dirt Commanders on a 14×7 wheel. Would it be OK to run 29×11’s on all four wheels? I think it would look like a beast! If not, does it look awkward to have 9’s up front and 11’s in back on 7" wide wheels? What’s the actual height of these?
2. 30x10x14 Dirt Commanders. Price and tire weight is negligible for this option. Kind of seems like a better option than 29" DC’s. Little better on the weight than the a lot of other 30’s. Actual height of these?
3. 28×10 or 30×10 Tensor tires. These would probably be ok traction wise since I don’t seek out mud, but that is a concern with them. With the 28’s, is there a noticeable difference coming from a 27 or should I just do 30’s? 30’s would be 5lbs per tire heavier than the DC 30’s and nearly 10lbs heavier than the stock rear tires.
Has anyone heard of or used Braid wheels? They seem to be popular over here in Europe but wondered if the they had reached your shores yet and if anyone had any usable feedback for them?
The new Maxxis Liberty tire has been released. Price is a little high but I think it will be worth it if its light enough. I looked for the specs. on their site but none come up for the Liberty. I will try to find weight, I’am down to this tire and the Arisun 30x10x15 what ever is the lightest.
Just got done plowing snow with my 570 trail with stock tires. Did the job fine but wondering if there is an actual snow tire for the UTV/ATV market or someone’s opinion on a good tire for such. I did a search and really only saw stuff regarding the plow on this site. I spend some time each winter riding trails that have sometime lots of snow (drifts) and often need every advantage available to get around.

Just looking for some feedback on STU Beach Combers / Tribute combo on a stock 2016 XP100 2. Hopefully in the Oregon dunes area. Although i’ll take any
info I can get!

I have been reading everything I can on wheels and tires for my XP1000 Turbo. I am thinking about going with 30x10x14 Tensor Regulators all the way around and the Method 403 non-beadlock wheels. 14×7 (5+2) wheels in front and (4+3) in the rear to keep the front and rear lined up and my width to a minimum. I ride the dunes in the winter on my Scat Track paddles and smoothies but want something for the summer at our cabin in northern Arizona. We are street legal and do have to travel on paved roads quite a bit to get from trail to trail. The Tensors seem to be the best choice for the pavement. I don’t want to use spacers on the rear because I would have to remove the spacers when I put the paddles back on (5+5) offset. Is it worth putting different offsets front and rear for looks and better front rear alignment or is it better to run 5+2 all the way around. Rotating tires is not a issue for me. Thanks for your input. I want to do this right the first time. Thanks!
