What tires do you recommend for my needs.

Alright guys, I know there is umpteen tire guide discussions so what’s one more.

I have a 2013 RZR 800s, with an adjustable 3" lift. Not sure what brand but it was on it when I bought it.

I’ve got the stock tires which are well worn but still work. 26x9x12 in the front and 26x11x12 in the rear.

I know with my lift I can fit some huge ass tires. But I want to keep it simple, and cheap. I don’t want to buy new rims. I’m fine with stock, yes I realise that limits me on tire size, that too is okay. I also don’t want to put a clutch kit in if I don’t absolutely have to, yes this limits me too. Later down the road I’ll do those upgrades but for now I just need something a little bigger and badder.

I do a lot of mudding and trail riding as well as some gravel trails. I’d like a tire that has good traction at a wide range of speeds, isn’t to rough on the trail, has some nice size lugs to get me through the mud bogs that I love to get dirty in haha. Yes yes I know I’m asking for the perfect tire for every situation which doesn’t exist. So specifically I’d say I do 40% trail, 30% mud and about 10% other.

Alright guys Let the mud fly.

Best tire for me

14" STI hd wheels on my 900s, I ride rough Rocky terrain, mixed with a bit of mud and dirt trails… Sometime blacktop getting to and from ….. But I am looking at 28" tires… Is there anything better than rocktanes , which I currently have…. They are just so heavy

Arisun Aftershock XD

The Aftershock XD proved tough at this year’s King of the Hammers so we jumped at the opportunity when Arisun reached out to provide us with a set to test at this year’s Discount Tire Rally on the Rocks. At first glace, the Aftershock XD features a tread pattern similar to leading Light Truck (LT) mud terrain tires. With large tread blocks, siped knobs, and high void ratio, the Aftershock XD is poised to tackle the toughest terrain. To accurately gauge a tires toughness though, you need to know what’s going on inside. The 8-ply rated radial Arisun Aftershock XD utilizes an exclusive anti-puncture technology called K3D Armor. K3D Armor is a lightweight aramid reinforced composite material placed between two layers of nylon that wraps around the shoulder/ sidewall for added durability and puncture resistance. After a week of testing on trails ranging from Wipe out Hill and Cliff Hanger, to Poison Spider and Moab Rim, the Arisun Aftershock XD held up to the punishment of the rugged Moab rocks and not once left us with a flat. If you’re after a durable 8-ply rated tire for your side by side that can handle the harshest of terrain, the Aftershock XD by Arisun may be the right tire model for you.

XP1k4 – Stock Tires on Pavement

I’m new the forum and apologize if this has previously been covered. I plan to get my XP1k4 street legal and occasionally use it on pavement on local streets. It won’t be so often that I want to get special tires, but I don’t want to burn up the stock tires either. Is this detrimental to the tires? Any recommendations on max speed or other good pointers? I have no desire to go over 45. Thanks for you help.
