I’m new to this forum and this may have been addressed before I’m not sure. I have a 2015 1000 2 seat. Most if not my riding is n the desert and I thinking about doing some racing. What is the benefit to 15 inch rims and tires or is there a benefit?

I have a street legal 2015 xp4 1000. I like to cruise paved roads and dirt roads in the evenings, do some pretty tame trails in Oklahoma, and occasionally go to Lake City, CO and do the Alpine Loop. The majority of my miles is casual cruising though of paved roads and don’t abuse my machine and tires. I undoubtedly am burning up the stock bighorns on the pavement, and want something that will hold up better for pavement but still work on easy/moderate trails. What recommendation for tires do you have for me based upon my usage? And I’d prefer use my stock 14′ wheels. Thanks for your help!

Anyone running these yet? I have a friend running the 30×11’s 10 paddle and he’s impressed with them. I think I am going to like the 13 wide version. They were available in the 9 paddle extreme so I jumped on them.

I’ve got a 2012 800 with stock wheels. It has 1.5" wheel spacers racer tech 2" lift and racer tech springs. I’m looking at getting STI BD XTR in prob a 27. Not sure on width anyone running my setup?
Hello folks I have a busa powered buggy that spins the crap out of 26x11x14 bighorns I’d like to run a 28-30 inch tire which there are plenty of BUT you loose the width the widest I’ve found it the 29x11x14 I’m looking for something wide like a sand tire with off-road terrain tread.
