Hipers not holding air

I have a set of 8×14 hiper fusion dual deadlock wheels and can not get them to hold air. I torqued rings to mfg specs and every corner leaks down. I was wondering if anyone that is running these wheels has any suggestions.

Discount Tire for your UTV Tires? Why not?

Needed a plain black wheel and tire as a spare on my rig. Looked all over the usual suspect’s websites. Saw lots of good stuff but finally decided to give my local Discount Tire (Show Low, AZ) a call to see what they could do.

As we were talking the guy looked up the wheel I had found ($35.99) and suggested a tire that would work. Said it would be a couple of days and it would be mounted and ready to go. Show nuff, he called this morning and I picked it up. Sales manager rolled it out to the truck and thanked me for my business. $139 for wheel and tire.

As I was standing in line another guy talked to me about a complete set he had put on his RZR 4. Beat the local UTV shop by $400 bucks for the same tires. Oh, and that included mounting, spin balancing and the warranty. He had come back in and wanted to know how much to mount his old tires on another set of wheels he had. Bring ’em in. No charge. You sure? Absolutely.

These guys, at least in Show Low, AZ, have cracked the code.

I use these guys for my car, why not my UTV?

30×10-15 NHS Mongrel

Ran into a guy this weekend that had a Brand New XP1K with the Polaris Hexlr Beadlocks and Mongrel 30×10-15 NHS tires.

NON Highway Service,, Was Not DOT Approved,,

Be Careful what you buy if your going for the DOT Tire, or maybe its just on the 15" wheel size that are NHS

Another tire and wheel question..

Okay I know this has been beat to death. And I’ve done a search and gone through a lot of the pages. But I’m going to ask anyways! So keep the hate to a low lol..

I’m going to be making my stock big horns in to full time winter tires as I’m going to be studding them.

But I’m looking for a good trail tire. Something with a little bit more grab then the big horns. Ride mostly loose dirt and bit of mud nothing to gnarly though. And about 30% of the time on soft sand! I don’t really want to go bigger then a 30" tire. AS I would like to keep the weight down some what.

And for rims. Going a bit wider isnt that big of a deal. A couple inches is fine!

So what’s a good combination? Or what have you guys have had luck with!

Thanks

Ultimate lightweight 30″ desert tire?

I’m looking for a good light weight 30" tire for the desert. I say light because I have a 900 and don’t want to run a 40# tire and loose a lot of power. There are a few I have been eyeballing latey like the Gmz kahuna, maxxis Coronado, and the one that a lot of people seem to like the Kanati mongrel. All seem to be about the 30-33# range.
It would need to hold its own not only on hard pack and rocks but in the soft sand/ sand washes. I know all three tires have completed the KOH so they have to be good.
It’s hard to find a newer tire review since utv guide did their’s in 2013 and several new tires have come out since then.

So let’s hear what you guys got. I’d prefer a tire on the lighter side but let’s hear about them all!

R-Forged F2 Wheels by MSA

New R-Forged F2 Wheels by MSA Offroad Wheels.

From humble beginnings ten years ago when we started MSA Wheels (MotoSport Alloys), to present day titans in offroad wheel manufacturing, the MSA brand has stayed endlessly committed to pushing the envelope of performance and innovation. We are incredibly proud to introduce an all new manufacturing process that produces the ultimate performance upgrade for race ready ATVs and UTVs as well as weekend warriors. Incorporating lightweight manufacturing processes using only virgin aluminum, we are able to decrease un-sprung weight, increase load capacity and knock seconds off your lap time. This is next level powersports. This is Rotary Forged Technology.

The MSA R-Forged F2 is a one-piece rotary forged aluminum wheel that is heat treated to ensure zero porosity and perfect weight balance for the highest possible ride quality in the industry. Each wheel is machined to exact tolerances before painted in deep semi-gloss black paint. The weight of our MSA R-Forged wheels vary depending on your bolt pattern. Because all MSA R-Forged wheels are exposed bore, the larger the lug pattern is (wider), the larger drop in weight you will experience.
