tire monitor system?

does anyone have use this very popular system in cars to monitorate the psi in tires?

I am planning to buy this one which is a Toyota one. but have the doubt of how many psi can read when at the lowest air level, that because regular cars uses 32 psi…. and rzr… from 8 to 20 psi….

OMF billit center series in the sand

I am looking to buy the OMF center billit series rims for my new paddle tires. How well is the anodized rim colors holding up? I have had chrome rims on my quad and after a few trips to the sand they would look almost galvanized. Is this gonna happen to the anodized part on the OMF wheels as well. I’m looking at getting the blue center and blue bead lock and red rim to match my Optimus prime rzr wrap. Any info would help thank you

Time for tires…

OK,

Any real knowledgeable tire guys here abouts?

I love the comments and suggestions for the regular joe rides like myself. But would be interested to hear for someone more knowledgeable in these things…

I was pretty set on just buying Maxis Big Horn’s again as I loved them on my Sportsman… But the RZR is bigger and heavier. So maybe a UTX spec, 8-10 ply would be better… but what to buy??

I like the looks of the BLK Waters, but hear that they wear terribly… and at one of the highest costing tires this is troublesome.

Rockthanes are a good possibility too, But for sizing…

See I LIKE my 12" factory rims and would like to keep them. IMHO they are tailor made to my needs with the offset and width made for the skinnier tires I want.

I would ideally like a 28x9x12, but no one makes one. I require a Radial tire. I don’t want a mud tire, I don’t do mud, I trail ride.

What is the real world difference between the STD Big Horn in 27x9x12 and the X2 28x10x12 Bighorn tires? I know the BH run large or truer to size. My factory are labeled 26" but my buddys wifes Yammi has factory maxis tires in 25 that are taller…

Will I see a difference with only a 6ply compared to a 8 or 10 ply radial?

Also, I will be replacing the POS factory springs and I really like what I am reading with the Keel Clickers claim to have ELIMINATED belt slipping… So may spring for one of there clutch kits if the can figure our t the spacer problem.

SO, I may be able to go even a bit taller and open up my selections farther. I find most makers stop at 27" in a 12" rim. I understand its allot of side wall. I just cant see wasting my $$ on new rims when I like mine and they are just fine.

HELP!

GMZ Kahuna vs Pro Armor Crawler XG

I’m tring to decide between these two tires for my 2015 XP 1000. If anyone has any pros and cons they would like to share I would really like to hear them. Both tires are 8 ply rated and made in China. The Kahunas are DOT rated but that isn’t a deal breaker for me. 30X10-14

Stones in the Wheel

I heard a noise and jacked my machine up only to hear when I spun the front wheel that were what sounds like little stones in the left front wheel. The faster I drove the louder they were. Has anyone ever experienced this and how would they get inside the tire?

STU’s for XP 1000, what wheels?

I want to pick something up at the sand show this weekend. I need 14’s front and rear I think. I’m just not sure on what offsets to getthat won’t give me a ton of bumpsteer.

I was thinking 14×7, 13/5+2 for the front and some 14×10, -2/4+4 for the rears?

Method makes them but I would have to drill out the rears somehow since they are not available in the 1×156 pattern.

I really don’t know though, will they be wide enough? Should I get something else? I don’t have 2k to spend on just rims.

Planning on tributes up front and not sure which STU’s for the rear. These will be for hardcore dunning in Glamis but not for racing the hill, agility over top speed is what I’ looking for.
