Drilling rims

Question – has anyone drilled out a set of rims from the XP 900 to fit a 900s or 1000s as the studs are bigger on the new machines. Any advice on doing so? They are Douglas aluminum wheels?

Sedona Rock-a-Billys or Pro Armor XG crawlers

Sedona has a new 30"tire called the Rock-A- Billy. Pro Armor has the XG Crawler. Anyone run either or both of these? How are they performing in desert, sand washes and rocks. Anyone running these on the stock wheels? Thinking of getting 7 inch stock front wheels for the rear and running the 10" tires all round. Thanks

570 tires

Hey so I have a rzr 570 I’m gonna put forward a arms on a 2" lift I wanna keep my stock aluminum wheels I like them was looking at tires not a whole lot but I found 28x10x12 my stock front tires are 25x9x12 I was think about putting these all 4 corners I know interco makes a 28x9x12 Any thougts

Tire grooving

I have the 26" bighorns on my RZR and after a few runs on them (they were already used on my RZR when I got it recently) I realized they didn’t hook up as good as they should in a corner. I do mostly desert driving, dry hard pack with sand washes and occasionally dunes which i use paddles for. Before buying new tires I decided I’d groove my bighorns. The front tires didn’t pose any issues for me but the rears would break loose in sweeping turns long before I fe they should have. So I grooved every lug on every tire with the goal of shedding a little rotational weight, making them bite harder, and making the lugs less rigid to help the aired down tires flex better for low speed trail wheeling. I set my grooving iron at 1/4" wide and 5/15" deep and spent a couple hours removing rubber. I won’t say that my way is the best, but I will say I’m glad I did it because they work a lot better now. As for balancing, couldn’t feel anything at all up to 60mph, haven’t gone beyond that lol.

Anyone running 33″ BFG T/A KM2 tires?

I am leaning towards some STI HD5’s with 33×10.5×15 BFG T/A KM2’s all the way around on my XP4 1000. I’m wondering about the weight being a problem. Looks like the tires are 50lbs a piece. Am I going to have a bunch of problems and snap axles with something that heavy? I have a lift kit and Heel Clicker clutch kit so I don’t think I would have any clearance issues or not be able to turn them. Am I wrong? Any input from someone using these tires or something of similar weight would be greatly appreciated!!
