Keystone 5K toy hauler anchor points

Does anyone run macs tie downs with the Keystone 5K tie down system? I dont feel comfortable running a small ratchet strap in my hauler so I want to run 2 inch ratchet straps. My current 2 inch straps dont fit into the anchor points without beating the hell out of them to get them back out. I wanted to order macs but Im not sure that hook style would fit either. Is anyone running them? or found a 2 inch ratchet end that fits into the 5K system?

heres the macs set I was looking at

This is a pic of the 5K with a small ratchet strap. same style end I currently have just on a smaller scale

Great deal if anyone is looking…. (RV)

Posting for a buddy of mine.

2005 Allegro

ONLY 9220 miles

20K

Obviously with that many miles, I’m sure it’s going to need "some" work (awning needs replaced) He’s put new tires on it and it’s in GREAT shape.

His name is Rick and his phone number is (704) 320 4859

I’ve seen these for about 35K on average but with 45-55K miles on them.

Thought I’d pass this on…

RV Pre Check Questions

I ask here because I trust you all the most. Rzr guys tend to be diligent and tend to have an RV to enjoy your Rzr with…………

With a new RV, I understand you want to get underneath and protect anything that may be rubbing…..wires, hoses, lines for example. I also understand that you may want to hand check any plumbing to make sure it’s tight. I’m guessing testing all appliances and any other items like the awning may be a good idea.

What are the other items you all go through before your first use of an RV?

How do you secure your toy hauler from thieves!

I know low lives always find a way to ruin a hard working man’s day. In my opinion any way we can make their lives more difficult to do so is key. Maybe some of you can share your methods of securing your toy haulers when traveling or if your like me and sometimes store your rzr in your hauler when parked in the driveway. There’s currently a huge problem in my area with stolen quads, dirtbikes, and utvs. Right now I have a tongue lock, coupler lock, and a cable lock going through the wheels. I can’t back the rear door up to anything solid and it’s seen from the road. Security cameras however, are in the works for the house so one will be facing the camper and garage.

What I’m most interested in finding is a smaller padlock that is actually effective. I have a latch system with a built in lock but it doesn’t seem very strong to me. There is a location for an additional pad lock but it’s a small hole and we all know a cordless angle grinder makes short work of a master lock. My latch doesn’t allow a puck style or the slide lock style where the key location is on the front. Any ideas??

Tie down rzr in new toy hauler

Was hoping I could get some help tying down my rzr in my new toy hauler. Unfortunately when I load it all of the front tie down rings are under it and one of the rear ones is under the tire ( see photos). I can’t seem to find anything to tie it down to in the front that is strong on the rzr. Anyone else ever have this problem? I guess the best solution would just be to add a few tie down rings to the trailer? Attachment 147323Attachment 147324Attachment 147325Attachment 147326
