Loading lifted RZR in a toyhauler

How do you guys gt your lifted RZRs to fit in your toy haulers? I have a Weekend Warrior SX1800 with about 73" MAX clearance because of the orverhead bunk.

I plan to chop my cage about 3.5 inches to get in there but what are other options? I have to back mine into the hauler due to weight distribution and thats where my height problem lies. Could I unhook the tops of my rear shocks before loading, or let most of the air out of the rear tires?

Gooseneck Enclosed to Toy Hauler Conversion suggestions/build thread

I am starting a conversion this weekend. I’ve had the trailer for a while now but am looking for ideas on floor layout, plumbing, electrical, and anything else you think is important or wish you had done to yours. I’ll post pictures as I go. I’ll be starting the build this weekend.

36′ Gooseneck enclosed
7’7" interior height
Tandom 7k axles

It needs to haul my 4 seater 1000 RZR and kids toys which right now are small electric things but eventually will be a couple of dirt bikes.

So far I have insulated the ceiling, added LED lighting, and a Fan-Tastic vent. I have purchased a 2000i Honda Generator I’ll be installing Saturday.

Trailer weight (empty)

I am very limited on GCVW, with the 2015 RZR 4 starting at almost 1500 pounds I would like to find a trailer with a tare weight of around 500 pounds.

That is a tall order I know, the trailer needs to be 6×12 for the most part. The all aluminum ones are $2500-$3000 and are around 500-700 pounds.

I don’t want to spend that much for a trailer, anybody have any thoughts?

Generator opinions needed

Here’s the deal guys, I have a 24′ enclosed trailer toy hauler conversion with a 13,500 BTU A/C, microwave, 32" LED TV/DVD player, several 110v LED lights, 110v dorm fridge, and several outlets. Needless to say my trusty 10 year-old Honda EU2000i just isn’t up to drive all that stuff. My question is should I get a companion Honda for roughly $1k or just get a 4000 watt generator? There are certainly pros and cons to each and I have read some good reviews on the Champions for a whole lot less money. Are there other brands I should look at or stay away from? I’m interested to hear others thoughts. FYI, I really can’t justify spending any more than $1000. As much as I would like to just go ahead and get a bigger Honda it just isn’t in the cards unless someone just does an outstanding job of talking me into it. And dB level is pretty important to me too, a big reason why I’m leaning towards the Hondas.

De-smoging newer diesels

Hey guys, total diesel rookie here

I live in an area of AZ that has no smog checks or regulations

I’ve heard the sucky part of newer diesels is all the smog stuff

Is it possible to buy a newer Chevy or dodge diesel and de-smog it? If so, what kind of costs are associated with this?
