Shock bolt size

I snapped a shock bolt after greasing the bushings. I know the bolts are a m10-1.25×60. I’ve had a difficult time locating this size & was considering going with SAE. Does anyone know if a 7/16 bolt will fit? Considering a 7/16-14-2.5. .39 vs a .43 for standard & I’m not sure how tight the m10 fit is.

Right rear wheel tilts inward at the top

I have a new RZR 900 Trail. The right rear wheel tilts inward at the top. The left rear wheel is always near vertical. I have jacked the rear up and the right rear tire will then hang almost vertical. I can’t find anything loose in the suspension.
Any suggestions?

RZR 1000 sagging

Ok so im new to this site and hoping I can get some valuable help
I have just bought a new 2015 1000 about two 1/2 months ago.
me and a buddy went down and bought two .after riding this weekend I noticed mine sits about 3" lower than his now..
there are no modifications done to it other than added a winch, light bar and stereo…
Called Polaris and was told by them its not covered under warraty they say its the nature of the beast and the springs are not broke so they wont cover this. Im very disappointed in this.. as it only has a 100 miles on it. it has never had 4 wheels off the ground at the same time not even a scratch in the lower control arms… I trail ride while climbing some decent size rocks…
So my question now is what aftermarket springs are you all using and like the best ..
Remember im not jumping it and getting stupid as they cost to much to replace and im not 25 anymore..and don’t want to listen to my buddy make fun of mine cuz his is bigger.lol

Limit straps or cables

Ok so I got a Rzr s with a 2 inch lift. They claim no binding but when my Rzr is jacked up and the suspension is at full drop when u rotate the wheels the cv joints bind. I can’t afford aftermarket axles at this time so I am looking for another solution. I had at one time used limit straps in the front with a bracket welded to the upper control arm and the top mounted to radiator support but the flimsy radiator support would twist when suspension unloaded. So I need to find a new location for my upper mount in the front. So my old straps will likely be the wrong length.

So that brings me to straps vs cables. My old straps I bought seat belt harness ends and took a 2 inch wide tow strap doubled it up and had an upholstery place sew it up. The strap worked but they had some stretch. And I am worried overtime they will stretch and I will have to have new ones sewed. Now I have a bunch of smaller diameter cable and all I would need are some clamps I was thinking of doubling the cable in the harness mounts and using that. That way over time if they stretch I can just adjust it with the clamps. I have researched all over and ppl say cable works good on big 4×4 trucks. I would think it would work on a smaller Rzr. Any opinions. I know straps are cooler looking and don’t snap like a cable. But I feel like that cable won’t be under enough strain to pull it hard like a winch line and have that horrible snapping. If it does something else will likely be messed up on Rzr and it is under the Rzr so it shouldn’t hurt me.

Also any ideas in top mounts. I was thinking of welding or drilling a hole in top lift bracket for the mount it is 1/4in steel and almost gussets the top shock mounts front and rear. So nothing should twist when unloading.

I know aftermarket axles would be best but I can’t afford them right now. Plus this will work just the same. Thanks.

2inch Spacer lift – is it causing issues?

Picked up a RZR 800 that has a 2 inch spacer lift on it, doesnt look like its maxed out but theres some serious play in the prop shaft. I’ll be replacing that shortly, my question is though, is the 2 inch spacer lift and 27 inch mud tires causing extra strain on the prop shaft and causing it to fail? Or is this a normal wear and tear item on these guys? I’ve read its a pretty common issue that seems to stem from not greasing the grease fittings enough but I just want to make sure that I get this thing mechanically sound and dont want a reoccuring issue if this cheap lift is the problem.

Pipe Lift Survey

I read everywhere that 1 1/2" spacers give 2" of lift, and they are more popular than 2" spacers because some guys think that would be too much. I went ahead and installed 2" pipe couplers that were actually a tad taller, at like 2 1/8" (had to get em bored out a little, to fit around the shock tube). Anyway, I got a total lift of only about 1 1/2", so what’s up with that?

Ok, whatever, my main question is this: Of all you guys that have pipe/shock spacers, where do you run your preload settings? I had them all cranked up tight before the project, and since the installation they are all on the lowest setting. It obviously rides way stiffer than before the mod, as you all know, but I could get probably another 3/4" lift by cranking them all the way back up. Do I dare do this? Can a guy put too much preload on a spring? Would it ride like a friggin wagon? Thanks for all the input.
