I’m new to the forum and to adjustable shocks. I have a new XMR and I’ve bottomed the front end out a few times. I was wondering how to set them up so I don’t damage them?

I’m not professionally racing, just going as fast as possible in the mountains of Beautiful Alberta Canada. Who holds up to mud, dust, snow, heat and abuse? Sometimes throw the girlfriend on the back too, looking for some adjustability.
And Go!!

Clonking in Rear
Well by now I’m pretty use to all the different noises that a Can-Am makes. But my last ride, on the way home I stop to play in water crossing on the trail. Good place to clean off ATV. It has a rock bottom, I notices a clonk in the rear and stop to check, thought maybe I pick up a stone from creek. Everything looked OK, so off I go to truck and load ATV. When I got home I clean ATV, pick it up at the rear. Well to my surprise I notice movement in my swing arm. Could move the tire up and down 1/4 of an inch. Took ATV into Dealer to see for sure, they said they have never seen a G2 with any a-arm problems, just the G1s. They said it must be swing arm bushings. Well they were wrong, they couldn’t believe it. With only 1000 miles on it, the bearings are toast. Its a year out of warranty, but they still were going to open a report and see if BRP would help. Not holding my breath on that. To get the main nut loose that holds the rear swing- arm, you better have a heavy duty torque gun. In the book it gives them one hour a side to re/re bearings. I’m going with after market bearings, BRP are twice the price. Now I don’t mud this ATV, I mostly ride trails only. My ATV is kept very clean and my dealer knows its well taking care of, that’s why they are very surprise the bearings are wore enough to cause play in rear swing arm. So beware of that clonk in the rear, make sure you check everything over.
Bandit shocks with racer tech springs?
My bandit shocks with their springs are starting to sag quite a bit in the front. I have a set of the racer tech springs sitting on the shelf is it possible to put them on the bandits and of so is it a direct replacement or do I need an adapter? Thanks in advance.
clutch prob
Gotta fix the clutch problem on my ride. :tools1:
Need a clutch kit and I found Dalton clutch online. is this a good buy? maybe some of the people here might have tried it. Any feedback?

Shock Therapy
I took my 1000 2 seat to them last week and boy did I learn some things the hard way.
Ernie took very good care of me explaining things and was very honest and up front with issues I had with my 1000.
I purchased 5 EFX Moto Hammers and 5 MSA m21 wheels a few months ago.
I thought the ride and handling was very bad with the wheels and tires so I thought the shock work would help.
Well I had cool looking rims but they were not anywhere close to the correct offset. I think he said the wheel scrub was very bad.
My choice is they could set it up the best they could to the wheels I have and I wouldn’t gain much or I could get the correct wheels or close to correct as I could and get the handle and ride back.
Ernie referred me to a company in Phoenix and I was able to trade my MSA wheels for a set of Method bead locks getting to keep my Hammers only having to pay for mounting.
I still have not had a chance to get out and do a extended run but what little I have drove it all I can say is wow!!!! No pushing in turns as before and is nice to be able to drift in the corners and not be afraid to do so. The new sway bar is really working much better with little to none body roll.
The shock work has made the ride very plush and having the extra adjustment on the sway bar is nice also.
Just wanted to say thank you to Justin, Ernie and to the guys in the shop.
It was nice for a change to get great service and also for them being honest and up front about my wheel issues when they could have said nothing and send me on my way as I would have not known any better.
Thanks

Shock Therapy
I have a 2013 RZR S 800 with stock Fox podium shocks and medium Racertech springs. Talked to Ernie at Shock Therapy yesterday on the phone about doing there custom valve job on my shocks. Told him what kind of riding I did and what I was expecting out of my suspension. He seemed very confident he could get me setup. I would like to here from anyone on here that has had there suspension reworked by Shock Therapy and what kind of results, good or bad , they had with the shock revalve up grade. Thanks.
