Guys, just wondering if anyone has come up with a way to mount Polaris’s Total View DVR Camera with a SSV Works overhead unit on an XP1000?

I ordered the glovebox mount sub package on the Black Friday deal. Went to install today and having nothing but problems mounting the ssv 10" speaker into the box. The holes must have been pre drilled way to small or the cheap Chinese screwz they send to mount. So far I have broke one screw off by hand tighting not even a quarter of the way tight and now another one I can’t back out or in. This should not be that difficult. If I knew I needed to drill holes out bigger I would have. And the pre- drilled holes don’t even put the logo straight on speaker. Very disappointed not sure what to do at this point. Very heavy paperweight. I can’t take speaker back off to do anything.

The only good thing I can say so far was fast shipping.

I just received my under dash sub enclosure for my 2013 RZR XP4. The first one I received didn’t fit because it was too big. It was an older model that didn’t work with power steering. My comp kicker sub fit fine in the old one.

The new one is tapered and the subwoofer doesn’t fit. Should I grind the inside lip of the enclosure so the sub will fit. Is this normal?

Just a shout out to SSV.
I bought most of my SSV System from TMS, they had everything in stock which was cool. I’m pretty savvy when it comes to stereo installs from doing them in my cars and trucks for the past 20yrs, I have never worked in a stereo shop but understand the basic concept of Ohms, watts, quality of speakers, cubic air space ect.
I took my time and it took me 2 weeks to install it all correctly, all wires are in wireloom with the correct gage wire, connectors ect.

My system consist of the following and installed in a 2015 RZR XP4 1000.

SSV Lower door inserts.
SSV Rear speaker box (fully dynamited) on and around box to eliminate most rattles.
SSV Cigarette lighter Aux jack with I-phone charger
SSV Volume Knob.
Seperate Bass Knob.
SSV 6.5 mids
JL Audio 10TW3-D4 sub (note this sub will not fit without modifying the box by trimming the overall diameter and the bracket that connects the box to the RZR.) But WELL worth the effort, took 30mins to modify it if you have the proper tools. JL Audio 10TW3-D4 Shallow-mount 10" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield.com

Kenwood 900 watt 5 channel class D-amp. Kenwood Excelon XR900-5 5-channel car amplifier – 60 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms + 600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

2nd Shuriken battery. SHURiKEN SK-BT35 12V Car Battery Power Cell (SKBT35)

Smart electronic Isolator that runs every accessory on the RZR ( never a dead starting battery!!)

The JL Sub Is wired @ 2ohms with a solid 600 watts going to it, the subs optimum air space is 0.50, the SSV box is 0.63 so I added some bracing to the inside of the box to get the proper air space right, let me tell you for the open air space of a RZR this sub is AMAZING, hits harder then any other sub I have herd in a box like this. Not knocking the stock SSV sub but the JL hits a honest 20x’s harder. I tried to Dynamatt everything i could but still have minor rattles, without dynamatt it was pretty stupid how much the plastics rattled on the RZR:rm_thumbdown:

The SSV Mids are a decent speaker for what they are, I have them wired @ 4ohms which puts out 60 watts per speaker, WAY more then enough for these mids but it sounds good and does the job for now. Later i will upgrade to a set of JL 6.5 components.
I also added the foam insulation to the lower door enclosures, this gave the mids more "punch" mid bass and better overall sound quality, it made then sound less "hallow".

I will post some photos later but over all I like the SSV product, the fit and finish is really good and the overall system is LOUD and hits HARD, everyone that hears it is very impressed.
