CAW new ownership?

Heard that my least favorite place to ride – Carolina Adventure World – has new owners. The place has turned into a crap-farm over time and there’s really no good reason to ride there other than the short drive. So we avoid it.

Who can shed some light on this? Their website barely works if it works at all. Was told they may already be making some much needed improvements and repairs to the trails. So much untapped potential there. Would be sweet if it’s true.

Anywhere near Myrtle Beach to ride?

Hi, new to the forum here. My parents just purchased a place in Murrells Inlet and I’d like to know if there is anywhere nearby for my son and I to ride? Nothing crazy, just some trail riding to get our feet wet. Being Jersey boys we really haven’t been able to ride the RZR much at all!

Thanks for any suggestions,

Joe

Anyone rode from coal creek to brimstone??

Hey everyone, I’ve heard from a few different local people around the coal creek area that there are trails linked together between coal creek, brimstone and royal blue. Wondering if anyone has any info on this or not? Info on permits you have to have? If you are allowed to pitch a tent on the trail somewhere? We have rode all three parks and are kinda familiar with them, just wanting to try something new. I have bought a android tablet and am working on the back country navigator app to try and find the trails to download for this ride but not having much luck yet. Any info would be nice, thanks in advance!

For anyone interested. Rode the trails yesterday. First time in several years, first time with GPS, first time on SXS.

North Loop has just a lot of turns. Some places very tight. All bridges are super TIGHT! 50" ok. My rzr is actually 53" wide and it was very tight.

South Loop is LONG but better riding. Be aware that after a lot of rain, there will be several water crossings that could be deep. Trails were dry yesterday but you can tell water gets deep.

Dirt bike riders would like this place because there is very little sand to deal with. There are roots however but not as bad as Camp Clairborne.

Hoping this winter to map all the trails at Clairborne too. Then I will have all of Kisatchie trails.
