PIDD 2.0 & Rider X – How to add waypoints

Spent all day trying to figure this out and can’t for the life of me figure out how to add waypoints to my PIDD. Is there some way to save waypoints from Rider X and import to PIDD? Or can I somehow manually add waypoints to PIDD by entering coordinates? How is this done? I’m just trying to save a few Glamis coordinates.

Advice on purchasing a turbo

I have the opportunity to buy a turbo from a guy in my area that bought it this fall and has put around 200 miles on it (21 hours). It has front and rear bumpers, windshield, roof, and rock sliders.. He’s considering my offer of 19K but he is pretty set on 20K..

1. Can you still buy an extended warranty for it with it being used? I realize the factory warranty will transfer but I could really use the extended one.

2. I can get a 2016 rzr 1000 XP for 15.5K but have to purchase it by the end of the year and then with 2500-3000K worth of accessories I’d be at 18-18.5 end result. So basically if he accepted my offer of 19.. I’d still need to put another 1500-2 in it to make it what I want.. So what I’m saying is for the 3000K extra should I get the used turbo compared to the brand new xp? I’m not out in the dunes, I spend most of my time in creeks and in timber’s

3. Also have any of you rode the turbo’s around water? Either model I buy will need snorkeled. Anyone know if the turbo model can be snorkeled with the high lifter snorkel kit? Theres a creek in my area we ride down a lot thats about waist deep in quite a few places so snorkel is a must..

Overheating Poll (again) Dunes vs Dirt

Hi Guys,

I am working with our dealer and Polaris to get our overheating problem under control on our 2 XPT’s.

On our 2 rides, they both overheat during hard rides in the dunes. My dealer just replaced my Primary Clutch on one of them, and he says that it was totally hammered. He also says the secondary has major groves in it, like it was slipping badly, probably going to replace that as well. He is pulling the cover off our 2nd xpt to check the wear on it as well.

He has a theory that it needs a clutch kit, and that might also solve the overheating problem. Maybe when we are in the dunes, it is lugging the motor, causing the overheating.

So… of the owners on the board that are overheating, how many are only having problems in the dunes, in the dirt, or both. Just trying to confirm that it is mainly a Dune problem.

Mounting the Fox Shock Reservoirs Horizontally?

I just put an aftermarket roll cage on my XPT and I have the Fox Shock Reservoirs mounted horizontally instead of the vertical factory position. Is this ok? A friend of mine thought i may want to confirm there is no issue mounting them this way? He thought about air bubbles needing to rise/escape to/at the top of reservoirs when mounted vertically? Thanks for feedback.

STM vs. Boondocker Ripp Tied

Potentially upgrading to aftermarket clutches and want to know the pros and cons of each before making a decision. Any of you guys out there that have either setup please give me feedback on performance, maintenance, long term cost, cover issues, belt issues, and any other things you might deem important.
