Anybody installed a winch yet?

Tried to install a winch on your XP Turbo yet? Good luck! With the addition of the second radiator and the larger diff, space is limited. The bracket for a XP 1000 will not fit without modification (it’s a 1/8" too deep front to back due to the extra bracket for the second radiator. After modifying the bracket to fit, I found that the lower bracket on the back radiator sticks down too low and you can’t get the winch into the space. (I tried a Super ATV 4500 lb) I also tried a Warn Advantage 3500 left over from an older machine. I was able to get it to at least sit on the plate but the lower radiator brackets are still in the way of mounting it properly. My plate is currently sitting 1/4 to 5/16" above the front diff. I don’t think that making it drop farther would give me enough clearance.
As of now i know of two fixes. One buy the heavy duty Polaris bumper and mount the winch on that. Two my dealer tells me that the newly designed Polaris winches will fit but they cost over twice as much as a Super ATV (which I have had good luck with in the past).

Drive shafts

Maybe this has already been discussed, but I couldn’t find it if it was. Did Polaris finally phase and balance the drive shafts, or are we still purchasing 25k machines without phased and balanced drive shafts….?
