Brand new machine. First time out. snapped one axle clean off and the other side is also done. I was in 2 wheel drive high approx 15 mph going up hill and boom. No warning at all. I have 19.1 miles total on my machine. The guy at the dealership said Polaris will most likely deny that it is covered under warranty. Wow so I pay 25K for a piece of shit basically??? I am saying this if it is not covered……

I was surfin in the inter-web and noticed Packard performance is getting into the xpt game. They have a turbo upgrade kit. Stock the xpt did 120whp on there dyno at 11psi. There turbo upgrade at 4psi did 149whp.

They ran turbo yxz’s, stage 3 Mav’s, stage 3 xpt’s, z1 swap at 20psi, r1 swaps.. And never lost a race.
They currently are doing 210whp at 17psi, stock motor, stock clutch
I would like to make a master list of all the "dune" wheels that will fit and wont fit the XPT’s. If you have personally tried mounting up any wheel other than the ones already listed please chime in. By dunes wheel I am referring to wheels that are 14X8/14X7 and 14X10/14X9.

NOTE: Figured I would answer the question before it was asked. For those of you looking for wheels for dirt tires, to my knowledge every cast wheel out there wont have fitment issues. So STI, ITP, MSA, GMZ, DWT, Method, etc. cast wheels will fit without issue. Only " flat backed" wheels hit the calipers.
So I was seeing really high belt temps, and then finally blew a belt today (at about 300 miles total, 173 hard dune miles). When I took the cover off and started cleaning up (the belt was shredded big time, it even shot parts out the clutch-cover exhaust) I found this:

Pulling secondary "out":
Can I just crank that bolt back down (and maybe loctite it)? What is the torque spec? Is there any special process to tighten it?
What sort of damage could have been done with it being that loose for so long?
