Anyone seen this yet? Looks pretty sick!

Has anyone done the Shock Therapy RIS on the XP Turbo yet?
Getting ready to send mine in but would like some feedback.

So after much debate on upgrading from my 2013 rzr 800 S, I was in the debate wether it was worth spending all that money to go with the XPT or save a bunch and go with the XP1k, either one was going to be a significant upgrade. Well I’m glad the wife helped my decision and we went with a 2016 XPT spectra orange…

My first experience with the new machine was quite interesting… almost something I’d rather not admit, but it’s worth the laugh… So the shop built it yesterday after closing and called me when it was ready, by the time I got there it was dark out, and I just put it in the trailer. Got it home and of course the anxiousness of playing with the new toy couldn’t wait. I get it unloaded let it warm up and proceed to drive it around the yard, I took it out on the road and was going real easy on it and then I decided to accelerate a bit more, well it felt like it fell on it’s face and I wasn’t getting throttle response… let off the gas and it would respond again but then fall off…. reminded me of some limp mode. I went back to the house, took a quick look at the manual didn’t really see anything to remedy the problem. Now my dilemma was starting to really bum me out as I was super excited to have the new machine… I do a quick once over looking for possibility a plug was undone or some sort, well no luck. I loaded it back in the trailer so I could just drop it off in the AM. I decide i’ll just txt my buddy, (the shop owner) and let him know I’d give him a call in the morning due to the rzr feeling like it was in limp mode.

I get a txt back, "lol put your seat belt on dummy" … … … long story short you get what happened now.. so of course the seat belt interlock got me! My old rzr never had the interlock so I didn’t even think about it since I was only going for a quick ride around the yard…

Anyhow beyond that hiccup, I finally got out and gave it a quick bit of acceleration and wow…. I am simply jaw dropped at the power this thing has. It makes my old machine feel like it was a golf cart… Can’t wait to get out this weekend and really do some riding! Now I have a real reason to browse the XPT forums! :ride:

It was a beautiful day in Nebraska so a group of us went to our nearest sand box outside of Genoa Nebraska. A gentleman was there with a new XYZ that he already put a turbo on. The results were a little surprising to me. We are both running stock tires in the sand my XPT is bone stock not even a reflash. I smoked him out of the hole and so bad he couldn’t catch up in about 1000 feet.

Next we went to the washboard. its about 1500 feet of whoops. I could get to 65 he was just behind. Couldn’t pass me at all. Next I started in 2 wheel drive to see if I could catch up to his knowing he’d get me out of the hole. I could not catch him. He put about 2 car lenghts and we stayed about like that for the length.

Went back down to the drag strip, we went from a 25mph rolling start in 4 wd. He pulled ever so slightly at 1000 feet my front tires were at his back.
The Yammi has no bottom end! He complained the all he did was spin out of the hole. On the vids you can hear him bog. He has to rev past 6000 for power. I think he needs to retune. he says he’s only running about 61/2 pounds of boost. I’m very happy with my XPT. I thought he’d get me every where.
That’s how it played out today. with some more tuning on his and paddles on both it may be a totally different story. Only time will tell.

This is by far the best investment you can make on your Rzr Turbo. I have mine set in middle hole (3 holes/ 3 stiffnesses ) and its crazy how much better it drives. It takes ALL the unwanted body roll out of this machine..

+1 from me. When the front sway bar kit is ready for the turbo I would but it even if cost over $1000.

Anyone know what the differences is between rear bumper for xp1000 vs the turbo everyone I look at says won’t for xp turbo but looks like it would?

Does anyone sell one yet or can any one give me the specs so I can make one?

who is running boost gauges on their xpt’s??? If you have one what kind is it and what did you tap into to get boost signal?? I have read that they can cause check engine light, how? thanks for the input in advance!!!

Guys looking for suggestions on where to buy my 1000 rzr non turbo in the DFW area. Please let me know what you paid and where. I’ve heard Jones off road in OK is the cheapest anyone dealt with them before? Thanks for the help.
