I have a RZR xp900 that has a FCI intake and an SLP exhaust. I have the Air Fuel gauge and it it is still running rich. I had ALBA send me a controller that removes fuel. Even on the setting that removes the most fuel it is still running in the 1s and 12s. 13 is optimal. The RZR only has abut 20 hrs. MY problem is that I am running Rich and I am WAY down on power. I have the DALTON clutch kit and have to have all the weight out just to turn my super light skat trak paddles. According to the tuning for such alight tire i should be adding a ton of weight. My buddies stock machine with no sand tires seems to pull better than mine.
2011 XP with 2,000 miles and front differential will not disengage. Noticed front wheels dragging on pavement so jacked it up on 4 jack stands to 100% confirm.
I recently changed diff fluid using Polaris oil
What troubleshooting steps should I take?
Thanks in advance.
So i really wanted to keep my rzr’s motor bone stock but came across a really good deal on a bug gun slip on exhaust for my 900xp part number 12-7852
My question is will i need to get a fuel controller? I tied to search myself online first but am reading slightly different things so I thought id ask you guys. I just want a deeper sound and sure a little more Hp is always nice.
So my fan stopped working , 2014 rzr 900xp LESS than 130 miles ! couple guys on the forum gave me some things to check? Relay , circuit , corrosion . So checked all and all 100% Working , put direct power to fan ? it works , per Polaris service manual , removed plug from cooling sensor in rear put rzr in park and turned over the ignition , fan was suppose to run after a few seconds . DID NOT HAPPEN , ECU is all I can think of . So rather than buying a new one , what best way to bypass , I have found some nice aftermarket kits , I like fan turning on a bit faster than factory . ANY SUGESTIONS ?
In what is possibly my dumbest moment in history I decided it was a good idea to knock a front CV shaft out using a drift from the opposite side.
I am installing a 3-5" lift which came with 2 rear rhino axels. So for good measure I ordered the matching 2 front axels. After fighting with pulling the drivers front axel off for a good while, I finally got it out. So while it was out I thought it a good idea to use a drift to knock the passenger side out. BAD & DUMB IDEA! I knocked this washer out of the diff. So I then removed the diff and pulled it apart. This washer is pressed into the outdrive cup which receives the inner CV shaft. My dilemma is I am questioning put it back together because I don’t see what this washer does. Has anyone seen this or her any knowledge on can I go back together without this washer.
today while I was riding I had the yellow check engine light and a yellow straight bar light (9:00 position on speedometer) come on. The Spedo dropped to 0 mph but I still had full power. Once I let off gas the lights went off and speedo started working.
Everything ran fine for the ride home but the check engine display came on the display. When I got back I shut it off and now can’t find error code. Any ideas on problem or how to retrieve error code?
I just got my first rzr and I have a few questions. I live in Utah and I want to know the best clutch set up for 5000’+ altitude as well as the best ignition/ fuel system controller. I have four wheelers and these made a huge performance difference for them so I want to do the same for my new RZR. No motor mods, stock exhaust. Also, when I was shopping for this RZR I noticed a lot of machines for sale with rebuilt top ends and only two thousand or less miles on them. I read about a lot of issues with the air box. What is the best air filter set up for this new RZR?
