Yesterday I was out on a ride right as we were 20 miles into the back country my rzr dies. 😎 I didn’t know what happened at first until I went to turn the key and nothing happened no power nothing came on. I then realized the ignition switch didn’t feel right. I looked under the dash and sure enough the back of the ignition switch had fallen apart. I got it back together and got the machine started lucky I had some tape to hold it together. I’m a little disappointed in the quality of the ignition switch very cheap. I cant get the backing to snap back together. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a easy fix? The machine is less then a year old with only 40 hours. It still is under warranty but I hate for my dealer to have the machine for a month because of a switch.

engine to tranny bolts – have to use oem?

one of my engine to tranny bolts broke in half on my ’11 and instead of buying the $41.99 a piece bolt has anyone just used regulars bolts from a place like Fastenal that are around $8.99 a piece? I am gonna replace both of them and hate to spend close to $90 for 2 bolts. thanks for any input

Another Dead Battery
All,
My buddy has as 2012 XP 900 with less then a 1000 miles on it and it has gone through 3 or 4 batteries. If it sits more than a week the battery will be dead. This machine has no added electrical accessories, There has to be something
wrong from the factory to cause it to be constantly draining the batteries like this. It done it sense it was new!
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Xp 900 will not start
Hey guys have my xp900 I’ve fitted a 40" light bar to the roof had it all working good started the buggy drove out the driveway tuned the light bar on then the light bar went dim-out then check engine light came on and started running really ruf quickly drove back into the shed then it stalled and will not start I have code 51 (injector 1 fault) have check injector wires have tried disconnecting the battery still won’t reset has spark I have taken the fuel line off at the rail seems to have good pressure thanks

Hitting rev limiter right after going WOT- new owner needing help
So I just got my first RZR 900xp yesterday. Its used with 88hrs and 1440 miles. I noticed today that when Im in high and I go WOT, it revs too high and it bounces off the rev limiter several times when the speed is at about 35-45 mph I would guess. Havnt had enough space/time to see if the RPMs decrease after a few seconds of riding the rev limiterI know this isnt normal, but after searching around the forum for a while, I havnt found anything addressing an issue like this. So any ideas about what is wrong and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
