Why would polaris only put one Japanese bearing in.

So I went to go order up some bearings for my gearcase and found out that they only put 1 Japanese bearing in the case and the rest were made in China. The input shaft bearing was the only one made in Japan. Why would they do that? Why not just make them all in China? I also noticed that almost all the gears are the same as the xp1000. After all my XP was assembled in Mexico.

Brake safety switch

I have a 2012 XP that wont start. Battery is good. Noticed I had to push the Brake peddle harder and harder to get it to turn over. Assuming the brake safety switch is bad. I see the switch on the resivour but can not find the other end to check it. I’ve checked here but can’t find anything on location. any help would be appreciated. Thanks JT

Hi RZR maniac !

Just bought an RZR XP 900 2012 and I was wondering if it is possible to change the belt without the belt tool as I don’t have it …. Can a screw driver can make the job ?

Thanks !

2012 XP 900 rear tire/wheel help

A friend of mine and I are considering running the same size front wheels and tires (Stock rims and stock Bighorns) on the rear of our machines. The question we have is if we buy a new set of stock front rims and tires, can we just bolt them on and retain the same machine width front and rear or will we need to buy new rims with an offset for the ones we plan to use on the rear to retain the same width front and rear?

Thanks
