XP4 Build
Bought this 2014 RZR XP4 900 in Michigan and hauled it back to Wisconsin. Hard to find a new left over 2014 in May of 2015!!! This is what it looked like when I picked it up.
I then ordered a Tusk fabric roof for it along with ditching the factory seatbelts in favor of some front Pro Armor 2" 4 point harnesses and PRP 2" 4 point harnesses for the rear with the seatbelt buckle. The rear harnesses fit the kids (7 and 4) perfectly when using their booster seats. They can also buckle the harness themselves because of the seat belt type buckle the PRP harnesses use.
I then bought a 20 foot enclosed trailer, problem was that the RZR did not fit. I had to let all of the air out of the rear tires and ratchet strap the rear suspension down to get it through the door. I did that twice.
I only did that twice. Cut the cage down 6" in the back. It now drives right through with plenty of space. I can sit in the back seats (I am 6’2") with enough room to clear my helmet without an issue.
I plan on adding front and rear bumpers sometime this summer if time allows along with a front winch. This week a rear hitch will be getting built for it also just in case I get stuck!!
This winter I will be building a complete cage for it. I cannot stand that factory cage.
So for now this is where I am at with it. Hope to get some decent miles on it this coming weekend!!! Enjoy.

could I benifit from a clutch kit?
With 4 passengers it will run 70mph at 9250 (according to the gauges) and with 2 riders it will run approx 75mph at close to the same rpm (honestly I didn’t look that close and could have been slightly above 75). This is on hard packed fairly flat sand.
This Is My first rzr, just wondering if this is the correct stock performance, and if I would benifit at all from a clutch kit?

How can I take my dog with me?
Looking for new seats
I am looking for something with good ventilation or drainage for the times we do find water to cross or for when I hose it down after a ride. I was looking at PRP GT’s and Pro Armor G2 Mud in all black.
Any recommendations of others we should look at or reviews on the ones mentioned? Thanks.
