Ok, so I have almost have 1k miles on my rzr. I going to change engine oil, Trans and front diff oils. It’s a 2013 so changing coolant out. Bought new ngk spark plugs. Going to put grease around my K and n air filter for the dirt in engine horror stories. Do have outerwears on intakes. Going to drill a hole in skid plate to have a cess to grease the center shaft that you can’t get to. Any other little tricks or things I need to do to help issues down the road?.
I would like to put 30 inch tires on my car but everywhere I read it says I need a clutch kit. Does anyone know anyone in Southern California close to Riverside that can do this work for me?

I might be upgrading my suspension and part if my consideration is cost. I can sell my current setup and obviously put it toward my new shocks. What would the WE edition shocks (no needle conversion) off of a 2013 xp4900 with 1100 miles go for? Any rough ideas would be helpful.
I in installed some awesome m20 kore wheels. I mounted some kanati mongrel 28x10x14 tires. My take off big horns measured an an actual 26 inches. My mongrels mounted was 26 and 3/4. i am pissed. Efx motor mtc actually measure up to actual height?. Lobe the looks of the tire. Thought about the gbc dirt commander in a 27×11 because I hate the skinny rear tire. But will it measure actual 27 inches?? I didn’t want a 30 in tire so I didn’t have to buy a clutch kit bc I already have a high lifter 4 in lift. But if a 28 inch mongrel isn’t even 27 inches? What does a 30 measure.? I got burnt once and have 5 miles on these tires and want something else. Help!!
I’ve a 2013 900XP-4 with 1397 miles. I just completed my annual full service – all fluids, filters, grease, grease all shock mounts, di-electric all electrical connections, check brakes, coolant, brake fluid, etc. The machine remains in tip top condition at all times.
While checking over everything, I tested the wheel bearings by grabbing each wheel at 12/6 and 9/3 while on the lift. The front seemed tight and the rear had a slight amount of play. Since I have no reference to know what level of play is acceptable or normal, I don’t know if they need replacement.
I took it to my dealer today to ask their opinion… would you believe they said it needs all 4 wheel bearings and they want ~$600 to change them?
I’m skeptical. At the same time, we’re planning on a ~750mi ride in Utah in early September and I don’t want to be the guy broken down on the trail.
I am a reasonably capable / mechanical guy. I just don’t have direct experience with these bearings. Can anyone suggest a way to gauge the need for replacement?
BTW- I had a 2004 Yamaha Rhino with ~9k miles on it and I never changed the bearings. Why do the RZR’s seem to need them so frequently?
I purchased a used 13 xp4 900 that had low miles/hrs but the previous owner was a rancher and had a hitch on the back of it. First trip to the dunes it wouldnt rev beyond 7200. Ended up having a dirty dawg clutch installed right away by an experienced mechanic who knew what he was doing. After that machine would rap to 83-8400 but only for a second then it would drop to 7200. I could get 8200 again if i eased into the throttle but going WOT would send me back to 7200. Tore clutch down when i got home. Cleaned everything per forums guidance. Replaced belt. Went back to dealer and they checked throttle pos sensor. Polaris said check compression and leakdown but definitely no problem there! Not losing any oil but machine is now starting to do the same in low as well. Changed weights around on clutch with no change. I’m lost and need some direction!
Hi everyone
I am thinking of doing the stage 2 kit to my 2012 rzr 900 xp 4 mostly to get some more power for Glamis. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and will it help with climbing some of the bigger hills in Glamis. Thanks for any input [emoji2] [emoji2]
