What rear cage extension w/spare tire mount do I have?
I just purchased my 2012 xp 4 900 and it already had some additions. Can you tell if the rear cage is polaris? Here is what I am trying to accomplish:
I purchased new 14" STI wheels and because the wheel has a larger 4" opening it will no longer mount to the spare carrier. the vehicle is registered so I need to keep the view clear. Also, I would like a Lock & Ride as well as a small yeti cooler so I need to see if they will fit (and open) with my cage and spare. any suggestions or photos will be appreciated.

Cage help
I have a 2013 xp4 I need a cage for. I’ve posted on the wtb section and no action. Polaris wants a ton of money for a factory cage. Does anyone have a stock cage they want to sell in the Midwest. Another option is buying a knock down cage and welding it myself. I don’t want to go all out because I’m trading or selling the Rzr as soon as it’s fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

New VS. Used VS. Keep what I have???
Last year I bought a really nice clean used 2012 Ranger 800 Crew that somebody else had already fixed up. But when I bought it I had been looking for a RZR but the price was right on the Ranger. So I bought it.
But now I am still wanting a RZR. I like everything I can do with the Ranger but out on the trails???!!!
So I started looking at RZR’s again. I have found a used 2012 Polaris 900XP4 that someone is trying to sell, and has got over $32000 dollars in it with only 450 miles on it. He has it set up with pro armor doors, TMW cage, high clearance arms, Rhino axles, WS, LED lights and whips, winch, tires and wheels, chrome moly tie rods, custom wrap, cowl hood, sound system, and probably other things I have forgot. He is asking about $2000 over what a brand new one cost. When I talked to him about it sounds like he has had it off road but not much and has had some bruises while on the trail. But nothing much. So what is everyone’s opinion he wants me to trade for my Ranger plus some money. I know if I get a new one I can’t leave it alone I would do something to it or a lot to it, probably not as much as he has done to his!
So should I trade or buy a new one with a warranty??? I know if I buy a new one I would sell mine out right! Because I have already talked to the dealer where I bought mine from and kinda had to laugh at what he was going to offer me for mine!

XP4 900 suspension upgrade – Springs
So, I’ve done a lot to my 2014 Xp4 900, shocks re-valved, engine stage 2 kit, clutch kit, tires, wheels and accessories. Does great in most situations, but I’m wondering if I could gain a little more with springs – just got back from the dunes and in some cases I had a hard time keeping up with the XP 4 1000 that were in the group. I understand there is a big difference between the two machines, but there must be something i can do. The shock re-valve was huge. I’ve looked at Zbroz springs, but I thought I’d ask to see what others have done.
12v coverage/power plug in rear footwell
Anyone know how much amperage I can pull out of the coverage lighter/power plug in the rear footwell? Can I draw a constant 6.8amps off it?
cooler/Storage Box with spare tire & RotoPax gas cans
I did some searching and didnt find the answer. I have a 2012 XP4 900 with a spare tire mounted on the back. I purchased 2 fuel tanks by Roto-Pax that I can either mount on the roll bar against the rear behind the seats, or on the side in the back, or maybe even mount it to a storage box. I am wondering what else I can fit as far as a nice Cooler and storage box that I can secure. If I cant have both then I will use an insulated cooler as storage when not in use. How about a Pelican? If I am doing this right you should see a photo
XP 4 900 Door Skins
I have a 2013 XP 4 900 with Polaris brand doors that are all black. Where can I get graphics for the doors that will match the graphics of the rest of the machine?
