UMP filter for RZR XP 1000

Does any one no the part # for the XP 1000 filter. Is the filter the same for the race car and play car set up. I have one on my XP 900 and I get the filters from CAT, just curious if I can do the same for the 1000 too.

Is there any place cheaper than SXSperformance. They are $27 a filter.

Is it my Bearings?

My Rzr started making the noice in the video, when making left turns, right around 300 miles.
I took it in before the factory warranty was up, dealer said it was "suspension links",
Or something in that regard. Maintenance, @300 miles they said.

I want to get it fixed, and I think it’s the bearing.
Who knows what it is?
Thanks.

Has anyone ran this set up in the sand? I know that might be pushing the envelope, but for strictly sand dunes? Can’t bring myself to pony up for an LT kit, but think for limited recreational use? My only concern is breaking something while out dunning, not extra wear and tear on bearings and such. Other than hitting the whoops pretty fast and an ocational jump (nothing crazy), sand is pretty forgiving. Coming from a sand car, I still feel like it is a little sketchy at times.

Paddle setup. Suggestions???

My buddy has a 2014 XP1K 4 seater, and is interested in getting a set of paddles for it. He has a budget of about $1500 for the set. I have STU Blasters on Hipers for my 2 seater, but that is too much coin for him. Any thoughts on a decent setup in that price range?

New EVOLUTION Front Bumper System

Hey RZR XP1000 Gang,

Our new EVOLUTION front bumper systems are shipping by September 24. We worked with Allegheny Offroad on this project and are thrilled with the results.

The bumper is a bit more expensive than others out there, but that is because it is FAR more than just a bumper. It forms the foundation of an entire front-end system that can include the largest winches, spot lights, a tow ring, and even an innovative, integrated plow mount.

See below for pictures and ordering details. You can take advantage of a great presale that also involves taking 30% OFF ANY MOTOALLIANCE ACCESSORY at the time of purchase.

Front Diff Noise + Cam Chain Noise + Shock Issues = MAJOR buyers remorse…

Bought a 2015 and after taking it for it’s first drive, the front differential noise had me feeling concerned. Took my wife for a drive in it, and the first words out of her mouth in our brand new $25k RZR were "What’s broken?" Called Polaris customer relations and threw a fit only to have some senior level customer relations manager "assure me" there was a fix coming for the front diff. Still waiting, and imagine I will be for a long time…

Took the RZR for the first "off-road" adventure last weekend and the front shock on the passenger side kept making a whistling sound upon compression and the front spring carriers kept banging around, causing me to feel concern that the shocks weren’t assembled correctly (air in the passenger side front shock?), and wished I had a radio to drown out the shock noise while on the ride… Need to make an appt with the dealer to have them look at the shocks.

Went out to start the RZR yesterday after sitting for a few days, and thought the engine was going to grenade sitting in my garage. Got online and started searching for what could have been the cause. Sounds like it’s the hydraulic cam tensioner for the timing chain… No obvious fix other than installing a manual chain tensioner.

WTF WAS I THINKING WHEN I BOUGHT THIS MACHINE??? I had a 2010 Robbie Gordon Edition RZR 4 and never had any issues. This is a brand new machine, and I’ve stumbled upon several apparently well documented issues that are unresolved. I can’t bare the thought of dropping it off at the dealership and having them tell me that most of my issues are "normal" and there is no immediate fix for them. I wish I’d done my homework a little better, but I ended up buying it after going for a ride with a few friends who own them and never noticed the issues when we were on the ride, and they didn’t mention any issues or problems. Am I being too picky in expecting too much out of Polaris to have better build quality for a $25K machine?

Feeling super depressed at the moment….:rm_thumbdown:

Ride height with and without aftermarket

Threw on Zbros stage 3 kit a few weeks ago, it added some ride height to the car. It’s sitting about 14.75" front and rear right now. Going to drop it down a bit for dune season, maybe bump it back up in the spring for trails.

Anyway, wondering what height you guys like, I’ll probably start at 13.75 front and 13.25-13.5 rear. One more thing, when you’re measuring the front are you measuring the VERY front of the car?
