My new xp4 1000

Wanted to share pics of my new toy! Almost have everything done that I want, just waiting on my front bumper to arrive so I can mount it and my winch. I love this machine compared to my xp900. Kept the 900 for the kiddo’s to ride.

CVC movement

Help anyone. I have a 2014 RZR 4 1000.

I can grab the right rear axel with my hand and shake it and there is movement in the CVC. Is there to be movement at all? Also when I put it in gear there is noise coming from that area. Any info on this would help.

Battery tray and second battery holding water big time any ideas…

I have added a dual battery in my XP41K. there is a big hole in the second box area but the battery is laying right on it. Also I have not pulled the factory battery yet I’m waiting for everything to dry out first. I did pull the second battery and it was holding water to above the batteries. I was thinking about drilling some more holes in there but I have full skid plates and I’m not sure whats up under there and until I see my buddies I’m afraid I’ll end up drilling into something or snagging wires etc.. (I have a history of drilling into things). Also thinking about adding a couple spacers under the battery so it sits up off the hole but as much mud and grime was in there the hole was plugged anyways so I doubt it would have drained with it lifted. I cut the little flange that goes between the factory battery area to the secondary battery area so water would drain out of there into the secondary compartment.

Any other ideas besides lifting battery and drilling a couple more holes?

2016 XP 4 1000, changes to Front Diff, noise, & roller cage?

I am looking to buy a new 2015 or 2016 XP4 1000. Has anyone confirmed that polaris has fixed the front end noise that 2014 and 2015 owners were experiencing? Also what about the roller cage in the front diff, did they go back to an aluminum one or is it still plastic? If these issues were fixed it would make sense to go with a 2016 but if no changes were made I will save the money and get a 2015.

Winch Fairlead and Lower Grill Piece… What to do with it?

Ok I have searched high and low for over a hour on here and Google. I have a 15 xp41k and I just purchased the Viper Elite 5000. I’ve got the winch, and fairlead mounted but I noticed the factory lower grill will not go back on. It looks bare under there like something is missing without it. Does anyone make a aftermarket lower grill for these with winches. Or does anyone have pics of how they modified theirs to work around the fairlead? Thanks in advance!

Custom cage suspension help!

I just put a new custom cage on my 2015 xp4 1000 it is quite a bit heavier than the stock one! I took it out on a ride the other day and could definitely tell the difference in how it rides it’s a lot rougher ride! Does any one have any advice on suspension adjustment that might help? Thanks
