broke sway bar bracket

I am not sure when or how this may have happened? Future son in law was looking over the rig and says John your sway bar bracket broke off. I look at what he sees and sure as shit it did. Having a welder taking care of it. Is this common? The other one looks fine.

Ocotillo Wells

Anybody ride Ocotillo? That’s where we have been going for years. This is the first year we are driving a RZR. Super fun area with a little bit of everything. Saw a lot of really nice rides out there this weekend.

XP4 1000 VS Turbo

I am in the market for a new RZR, and am trying to decide between an XP4 1000 and XP4 Turbo. Everywhere i look the turbo is about $5k more. I am not sure if it is worth it or not. Anyone have experience with both? Thanks

Sand Tire sizes

My 1000 4 is bone stock and wanted to see what other stock machines are running in the dunes. Is there enough power to run a 30" tires? or do the 28" work better. Thanks for any info.

What A-arm replacement?

I found a crack in the heat affected zone of the weld on the gusset of the upper drivers side A Arm out by the ball joint. It runs the whole length and at the end moving towards the center of the machine the tubing paint is chipped off like it has been stressed. Rather than weld it up and add more gusset I would like to replace with aftermarket. Did a search and came up empty so what’s best option? Not looking for the top of the line racing stuff that will break the bank, just something stronger than stock that will hold up?

Engine ticking…..oil volume issue?

So last weekend was closing weekend at our dunes here in MI. Friday was the best conditions I probably ever have rode on. For about 25 minutes I was running it as hard as I possibly could, wide open pretty much the whole time. Was hitting a jump that was up about half way up the 150′ hill as fast as I could go which at take off was 63mph then I would turn around and jump down the hill. When I finally stopped and engine went to an idle it was making the same noise when you first start it until oil pressure builds up. If I hit the throttle it would go away but back to idle did the same thing? After sitting for 20 minutes I fired it up and immediately drove off and when I let it go back to an idle it was totally normal and have not has not came back. Could all the oil been up in the head and it was starving at an idle? Guess that really doesn’t make sense but this whole thing don’t make sense. Oil level is just a hair over the full mark? Anyone run into this? Still runs perfect and no power loss.

wiring help-dual battery and switches

New to forum, been lurking for a while, but need some help, please. Just bought a ’15 XP1K4 and I’m putting in a second battery and some switches for accessories.
1. I am looking for an, ignition hot, connection near the stock battery. I need it to activate my Stinger battery isolator. Many other posts say they have just hooked to a wire that is hot when the ignition is on, but haven’t been very specific to which wire they have tapped. Would prefer to not cut anything if possible.
2. I am looking for the same up in the dash to light the bottom of my dual LED switches. The switch harness for the lights has a lower constant on light that is on the switch. problem is the 8 prong switch has 2 hot wires going to it 1 in the middle, one on the top right. Any idea of the 2, I can tap into to give me the same constant on for the bottom of my switches?
3. What are the little pigtails with the blue lights on the end, just accent lights?
This was easy on my old Rhino, but now that the battery is so far from the dash, I am a little lost.
