Can someone tell me whats a better shock between the Elka stage 5 shocks, and XPT shocks. I understand that the rear shocks on the XPT, are 3", but I was always under the thinking that the stock shocks are never as good, because they are mass produced at a cheaper price. Also, if anyone could list the top 5 or so, that would be great too. 1 being the best and so on.

My brother is about to shop for a new XP1K. He was really wanting a 2015 Voodoo Blue, 2 seater. I was trying to have him go for a highlifter like I have. After he rode mine over the weekend he was hooked.

So now I’m trying to help him out and find the best price I can around East Texas area. 2015 or 2016, doesn’t matter. Ive heard of guy’s walking out the door around 17.5k for a 2015 HLE. This was up around Dallas area. Does anyone know where that might be?

Have you done it and CAN it be done without ripping the fender flares and RokBlokz off when front suspension is fully compressed and making a tight turn?

We have a D.E. , I did the tender spring swap, currently running 29/10/15 Roctane XS tires that look like go cart tires on the D.E.

On the last XP1000 we had I put 30/10/14 Roctane XDs on it and loved them and that’s why I tried the XS tires on the D.E.

I want bigger tires but don’t really want to do a lift kit. 99.9 % of our riding is in the rocks in low gear, averaging 7mph.

I was wondering if anyone here has had any motor problems? I bought my RZR this April and don’t even have enough hours for the first oil change yet. I got ready to load it up Saturday to ride and it sounds like a rod knocking in the motor at idle. Needless to say I put it right back up. It will be dropped off at the dealer tomorrow. I’ve had other issues with this machine already and have pretty much lost all confidence in it. I’m just wondering what I should expect will be done. I really don’t want a repaired motor in an essentially brand new machine. Thanks in advance for any input.

I have new 2015 1000 highlifter. Love the machine, but my lord do you get filthy riding in it. I’m older and go with a group for dinner and longer rides. They stay very clean, I dont!! I know I should have bought different machine. I want this one. My question, is it the tires and machine?? I see lots of conversation about mud buster flaps or body armor. I will do one or another after I see what they look like first hand. But would different tires help? Also there seems to be a lot of dust in can, coming from underneath. Anyone have trims to prevent this?? Thanks

Yesterday morning and this morning our Fox edition xp1k said over voltage and lost the eps and then shut down. Once I cranked back up and realized what was happening it was showing 17.5 volts and whining from the engine. By the time I got it loaded it was fine and back to normal. We unloaded and rode last night without issues until this morning.
We did run a 32 inch light bar a good bit both nights before having problems.
