I purchased a Motoalliance winch mount kit for my 2016 XP 1000. The actual plate went in easy, but when I got to the fairlead install I hit a problem. The fairlead bolts up to the stock fairlead mount position, but the front plastic interferes with the mount. I made sure the fairlead bracket is positioned so it angles upward as the instructions say. The motoalliance instructions show the front of a 1000 XP with the fair lead mounted to it and it did not have clearance issues. I’m guessing Polaris may have changed the front end on the 2016 just enough so that the kit will no longer fit? Or am I doing something stupid that a second pair of eyes could catch?
After sitting overnight my rzr cranks over fine but will not start unless I pump the throttle or floor it. Once started it will not idle until the engine gets good and warm. After warm up it starts and idles all day with no issues. The engine is all stock with 800 miles. Any ideas on what it could be wrong?
What is everyone doing about the drive shafts and stock carrier bearing set up? I know there weak because I’ve warped 3 of them. And the carrier bearing setup seems loose.. What’s the permanent fix?
I have a leak in my crank shaft seal. Has anyone ever removed the seal without splitting the case? Beyond frustrated. Please help with photos if you have them.
I just bought the Polaris 6 point harnesses. It came with an override switch that I do not need. If anyone needs one, just PM me an address & I will drop it in the mail.
