I just wanted to say really quick how impressed I was taking the 1000 out on the sand with stock knobby tires. Thing grabbed like crazy and never had any issues climbing hills and cutting banks. This was on very soft sand at Sandlake, OR. So if your wondering if dirt tires are ok on sand, go for it you wont be mad. I aired the fronts to 9psi and the rears to 7psi. Right now im not in a huge rush to get paddles now.

This has proably been asked before but how many grams are the stock weights, I have over 1700 miles on my 1000 Xp on stock belt, clutches are wearing well pulling 8250 RPM on Roctane 28-10-14 tires, I would like to pull alittle more RPM. MADDOGWFO I also clean clutches every ride

Picking up my new 16′ xp1k tomorrow and need to get a winch ordered for it. Looking at least a 4500 pounder. What have you guys used on them? I’ve got a warn 3500 on my 13′ Brute Force 750. Been happy with it other than the wire rope starting to fray a bit. Thinking of going with the synthetic version this go around.

Which mount also will work?

First off let me apologize, i know the "what should i buy" topic has been beaten to death but I’m at another impasse that maybe the more experienced members here can help me with.

I recently bought a 2015 rzr 900 xc, and although I like the machine, id like something with a little more performance. I had originally bought the machine because i was worried about width, but having ridden it for a few months with other side by side owners i found that the wider machines went everywhere I did.

So I got a good trade in and a good price on two new(ish) machines, one being a 2015 xp1k, and the other option is a new 1000 s. I’ve browsed the xp1k forum for a couple days and honestly im a bit worried about reliability, and that’s not to say the 1000s is going to be better in that department.

So for you current xp1k owners who have experience with the S platform, is the suspension on the xp that much better than the S?

My riding is mostly fields, gravel roads, logging roads, some trail and mud.

What would you go with and why? Thanks in advance.
