Wiring a lighted whip

Can someone please tell me how to wire a lighted whip? I am going to a rocker switch in the dash. I am assuming that everything can be wired under the dash and no need to run a wire to the actual battery.

Power Steering turns by itself?

I’ve got a strange issue I’m hoping someone else has seen.

2014 RZR 1000 EPS 2-seater

Steps to reproduce:
At a dead stop, if you turn the key on, and without touching the steering wheel, the power steering turns all the way to the right until it hits the lock. The power steering is functioning, however if you let go of the wheel it will turn all the way to the right until it hits the stop. I had to pull the fuse in order to get back from a ride. With the fuse in, there is No Power steering or check engine light on.

I’m hoping someone has seen this before. I’m guessing its something in the EPS motor. I either hope they are serviceable or there is a fix. I just saw the motor is 10% of the cost of the total machine!

thanks for any suggestions/help

XP1K exhaust I bet you have never seen…

Well, I got to bored the other day and started wondering what I could do to the new toy… This is what happened, I seen that I had an old exhaust pipe from my old yfz450. So one thing lead to another and a piece of exhaust pipe, some junky welds and some hillbilly ingenuity later I have a new exhaust for my XP1K…. Sounds throaty but not stupidly loud. Pretty partial to it really. Attachment 147276Attachment 147277

Any reason not to Upgrade to a 2016 XP 1000?

Ok, guys… I’ve got my finger on the trigger and ready to pull it on a new 2016 XP 1000 2 seater unless someone can give me a good reason to wait until next year’s model. I have a 2011 900 XP that has been good to me, but I want to get rid of my 2 4 wheelers that my wife and son ride to put them in something with a cage. We want the 2 2 seaters instead of a 4 seater since they still like to drive themselves and not just ride all the time.

So… I know one concern is that Polaris may put all the upgrades into the new 2017 model that the Turbo car has now and the 2016 guys will be out of luck on a new machine, but it is worth the wait?

Abernathy’s has a great deal on the 2016’s until Saturday and I’m probably going to make the long drive to get one if no one can convince me to wait until the 2017 model.

Thanks in advance for your feedback guys!
