Im thinking about purchasing the sparks stage 2 kit for my short course race car anyone running this set up? Also do i need to get an ecu reflash when i buy this as I’ve been looking at the alba stage 1 kit too and they say a reflash is a must?

Hi everyone I’m new to the form and the rzr 1000 I just got it used with 42 hours on it and I have a 651 engine code that is getting worse it use to come on like once a ride and then just go off fast then I would have full power again but now it’s at the point where it doesn’t go off I have almost no power. The previous owner says he never had any problems but investigation of the gas tank he ran a wire for the car to car and put a hole in the gas tank and put a rivet in it probably not knowing but there is gas that leaks out from it. Would that cause the code and loss of power or is it something else? Can’t find what the 651 code means… thanks for the help

It appears many of you on here have the moto alliance "Denali" plow set up. I see that one comes with the Viper brand winch.

A buddy of mine told e to go with Warn winches as he feels nothing compares to them. Im looking at the 4500 model. I also want one with a rope so that if it snaps I can re tie it rather than be screwed or stuck

Any reviews on the viper winches and the denali set up would be awesome!

Yea you could put it in an action packer or something but I was hoping to find some kind of a case that would allow me to quickly access a small SLR. The camera is an olympus EM1.

Any ideas? Should I just find a padded case and stick it in the glove box? Is there something I can strap to the cage that would work well?

Can anybody help out a brother in finding 2 of these clips. Its for a ploaris rear window for xp 1000. The guy that sold it to me said the other two top clips were in the roof he had. I have an aftermarket roof. Cant seem to find a part number anywhere! thanks..

I just had to take time out of my day to tell you why these guys are the best period the end. And also before you respond on how I am insane to go thru this much trouble and money understand I enjoy driving my RZR. I don’t get out as much as I should and when I do I want it to be on the money. I push this little car as hard as it can be pushed and know right from wrong in set up.

On the suspension since day 1 the car was horrible , I took the shocks back to Walker who some how are another made them worse. Next I took them to another suspension guy who did his best but just could not get it right. Maybe for the average guy who wants to have fun it would have been great but not for me. Ok 3rd attempt and complete re-do I did the big kit from Shock Therapy with the Sway Bar and 2.5s up front. Holy Sh&t Willis! now the car is insane to drive. I cant believe it, then I go by his Rig at camp Rzr and they even took it a step further and fine tuned it even more for the dunes and then took it out on there dime to be sure its perfect and wow. Now I am finally happy. On Sand HWY I can tape this thing wide and hold on to the wheel with one hand. So If your gonna do shock work I seriously recommend Shock Therapy.

Now on to the Engine/ Clutch. We all know Alba has a great reputation and has been around for a long time and now I know why, Last year I had some issues with my clutch. Well to back up just a little I had major issues like a belt a trip style issues. I did 3 different clutches then took it to Alba who fixed it up and now my clutch issues are gone if I keep an eye on that temp gauge just a little but my foot is still the enemy. So I have been waiting on the list to get the stage 2 done but have not hounded them and think I fell off the radar. So I played around a little with other programmers and exhaust just to find the car lost power. The same hills I went up before were now a problem. So I figured it was maybe an engine issue right? How can I bolt on parts and loose power no way. So I call Alba and they honestly felt bad and got me right in. Well the Dyno confirmed what I did killed the cars HP. So It bit the bullet and said remove those parts and put yours on. WOW and WOW, tons of torque great over rev in the flats and runs like a dream . So If you thinking about adding power to a non turbo car Alba stage 2 is the way to go for a good price. If you don’t believe me I hope the owner of Shock therapy reads this and comments because he drove the car and asked who did the set up because it is spot on!!!

Again the parts and companies that did not work I left there names out, they did the best they could and maybe the right combo for some and heck maybe it works in some areas, but not for me and not for the dyno and not for Glamis

I really think most RZR owners don’t push there cars like we do in Glamis, and loud exhaust combined with flat roads sure make things feel fast. But once you paddle up and push that car like some of us do the real HP/Torque numbers come into play. What may work on an engine Dyno with the right guy applying the load can be quite different then what happens in the real world.

my research has me going with the STI HD5 15" wheels all 4 with 5×2 offset
1" spacers on rear and the 30" roctane xs tires
my main riding is west va outlaw trails
looks like rocky mtn has the best price on package
any thoughts or comments on this before I place order is welcome.

Thought it would be cool to start a thread with HighLifter’s with Custom Cages.

I will start, just got mine installed yesterday. I think it looks much better than the stock cage! Next will be some speakers!
