Things to look for on my 14 1k??

So I purchased this machine back in april with 200 miles on it, and it has been flawless just like our 800s.. now that I’ve got about 1500mi on it, is there any valve adjustment that needs done,or any other engine issues? Clutches.. what’s their life expectancy, before needing gone through? Any 15 or 16 updates I should do? Notice it does not like moving slow in hi and tends to slip the belt… I’d like to think the 15 & up cover will fix it. I plan on tearing it down this winter, getting the suspension done and getting the cage done…..

Oh one more thing.. axles, we were at rush last weekend and I popped both fronts… what affordable axle should I go with?

Thank you

Tow hook/ tie down options

Are there any tow hook options for a 1K with trail armor skids? There is a cutout in the front for one but cant seem to find any that will work….
If not, what are some good options? I know there is one one the market that sticks out of the grille area but what else is available? This is just to use for strapping it down on the trailer. Once the cage is done next riding season then it wont be a problem, the front bumper will have tie downs/hook built into it

No Top end on 1000XP

I bought a 2014, Polaris Razor 1000XP. It has 625 miles on it. It is great shape and former owner claims it was never in mud only trail and sand a few times. We took some panels off looking for signs of mud underneath and found none. So, looks overall like it was well taken care of. However, the machine does not want to run over 63 on pavement at around 8800 RPM. I’ve tried to feather back the throttle and let it climb but it just hovers in the 60’s. The former owner said he put more robust belt on it right after purchase because of advice of other 1000 owners. Wondering if this belt or his installation could be holding it back? It seems to have strong torque and acceleration so I don’t notice any obvious slipping. I have yet to take the cover off and examine but was curious if other had any similar experience and what it could be?

2015 HIGHLIFTER Tie Rod Options?

Looking for other manufacturers. Already spoke with Holz Racing and SXS Stuff… Neither recommend their products for my application.
2015 HLE, 34.5 OL2, 3-5 bracket lift, GDP portals. I’ve bent the tie rod and looking for upgrades.

New Turbo Fox Shocks Swap On RZR 1000 question

I originally posted this question in the wrong section:

Hey all, new to the forum. I have a 2 seater 2015 rzr 1000 with stock suspension on it. Just got back from a 4 day glamis trip and have come to the conclusion I need to upgrade my shocks. I have an aftermarket cage, front and rear bumper, doors, ice chest and dry storage in the bed, a little heavier then stock and I was bottoming out multiple times every ride. Guess you could say I wasn’t driving it easy haha.

So my question, which of these 3 options would i get the best bang for the buck for upgrading my suspension:

Option 1: Respring all 8 springs and add a silent crossover for $1,500

Option 2: Respring, revalve and add a silent crossover for $2,000

Option 3: Swap out my stock Walker Evans shocks for the new turbo Fox 2.5/3.0 Internal Bypass shocks with the 7/8” shaft for $2,000

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
