Went for a ride today, came back and when I was cleaning the machine i noticed that the front drivers brake line had pulled out of the a-arm clamp enough to rub the inner tire rim. Rubbed almost right through the line and probably took a couple mils off the edge of the inner rim.
Make sure yours are secured. I added a couple tire wraps to each front a-arm.
I just found out about these today as I’m current rebuilding my motor because of damage from sand. Does anyone have one yet? Do they work like they say? Is it worth the money? Any thoughts good or bad helps thanks!
So I was riding this weekend and my glove box would not stay close, and the cover behind the back of my seat kept falling off as well! Have you guys had this problem and how did you fix it??
With the stock High Lifter tires on I don’t need to go any faster than seventy, but with stock Bighorns, I need more speed!!!. I have coming this week a new set of STI wheels with 30" Rock a Billy tires. I don’t think that the gear reduction has anything to do with the speed. when this thing hits 70mph that’s it, with about 3 " of petal left before hitting the floor. My question is can I change out the computer from a stock 1000? Im not hitting crazy rpm’s like upper 7000’s. I had a 2014 1000 xp and I really miss that 10 extra MPH.
I just noticed my driver side cage (rear door mount) has a 10.9 and 8.8 bolt while the rest of the cage has 10.9. Can someone look at theirs? Is this normal?
Found a super clean 2014 rzr 1k. 37 hours 200 miles.Has most of the accessories I would want to add and seems to be priced right 15k. Only problem is the motor has been rebuilt. How leery should I be here before proceeding? Anything to look for specifically? Also how much depreciation should I apply due to the motor. Any advice is appreciated.
Ok…. I know there are a TON of threads out there on this topic, but I just purchased a brand new 15 XP1K from a dealer which I haven’t even seen in person yet. I’m wondering what are the chances it has a shady front diff and is there a way of telling which diff it has by decoding the VIN?
Also, what are you guys doing about this problem? Have your dealers been getting them warrantied for you and exactly which part number is the bad one and which number is the good one?
