Rising oil level??

Anyone else observe this? I will change oil and put in 2.5 quarts and the next morning it will be at the top mark, then as time goes on it seems when I check it after 24 hrs. it slowly shows more. I have about 4 hrs on this oil change and the level is showing 1/16-1/8" higher, I’ve seen it go a 1/4" higher but it seems to stay there and not get any higher. What ya think?

what causes the T-MAP sensor to go bad

So my XP threw the 105 code today at the beginning of ride. It would not idle and ran like crap with throttle. Luckily it happen about a mile from camp and I was able to get it back on the trailer.

I have little over 2,000 miles and a little over 100 hours on my XP1000. What causes this sensor to go bad?

I ride in the sand, open desert and maybe a trail ride or two a year. No water or mud riding.

I am just glad it is not an expensive part and a quick fix.

Finally pulled the trigger!

Just picked up my new VooDoo blue 1k today and so far I could not be happier. I have only driven it up and down my street but a huge smile on my face the whole time.

Anything I should double check from the dealer?

Any recommendation on bumpers? I would prefer blue and the only ones I am seeing are the dragon fire. Worst comes to worst I will go with the black bumpers. Also any recommendations good or bad on roof? Can’t wait to take it out tomorrow!

2015 xp1k
Took it in 3 weeks ago Cal Coast Motorsports in Ventura,ca because one of my radiator lines was installed incorrectly and a hole was rubbed in it(under warranty) and loud noise from clutch(warranty replacement cover). Two weeks later parts are installed and the wrong cover was ordered so old one was put back on. Paid 350 for the first service while it was there too. When I got it home I noticed it seemed like the transmission was now loose. Called Cal Coast and they said I’m just hearing the normal clunk when first applying the gas. I went for a ride and still felt like something was off. Dropped back by for the correct cover to be installed and had the service mgr and service tech test ride and still "that’s normal and don’t worry about it"
Get it back our in the desert and just know something isn’t right and after getting up close and looking everything over noticed the passages side motor mount bolt was missing and the motor was wedged down @3" on the pass side. After using a crow bar on the trail it popped free and limped it into town for a temp bolt. So my question is does anyone think any other damage could been done with the motor like that for about 250 miles? Pissed I spent 350 dollars for bolts to be checked and this happens

Neater than a skeeters peter!

This machine was down at the Rally and it was hands down the neatest machine I have ever seen. I have always wanted a single center seat machine. The guy that built it was there talking with people and he was very cool. Obviously knows how to build neat stuff as well.

Factory wheel center cap

I was riding the trails today and a tree hit my wheel and broke the plastic center cap on my factory 1000 wheels. Does this little part really cost $20. Cheapest I could find is $20. Anybody know where I can find one cheaper or anything. Thanks.

stm clutch

Was talking to someone today and they said that stm clutches give you 18 hp has anyone else heard that .Thanks. To me it seems hard to believe .:ok:

Need advice on some accessories

Which roof for the highlifter? Want to keep rain off had a maverick and my left side would get soaked looks like most hard roofs leave you exposed so I thought soft top? Also anyone have experience with a cool flow full windshield? Which rear window hard or soft? And I know it’s funny to ask but how bout flares on the HL my maverick would cover you in mud flinging up from front wheels do extended flares help a lot or what?
