Guess I should list this in the budget mod section. But first I will give the 1000 owners heads up. The cheezy steering wheel tilt knob is plastic. Mine lasted about 2 weeks before breaking. In my search for something to replace it with I found that a guitar tuning knob fits perfect and uses a set screw to secure it. The neat thing is you can get them in all sorts of colors and they look like a trick aftermarket billet knob. Now the best thing? the are 3 to 5$ on ebay, Amazon or your local music store. Cheapest trick upgrade you can do.:ok:

I know fjk has THE fox edition build thread going on and I’ve been following along watching his come together as I’ve been slowly getting mine wrapped up… Lots of similarities and a few different features! But that’s what makes these things so cool, you get to personalize them to the exact designs you have in your head! Bear with me because I had been a die hard maverick guy building and racing mine in the pure desert series for the last three years. I just made the switch to Polaris in March and have been working on this car ever since! As of right now it has about 200 mi on it. Anyways with this build I was going for more of an adventure/prerunner build and not so much a race car. It will be used for long distance Baja trips and typical high speed desert runs. So I when I went into my local dealer today he had a set of 28x15x14 sand stripper hd and 28x12x14 front sand strippers mounted on 14×7 liteloc wheels…
Anywaways he said he would give me a deal and I loved the look of them but my concern is the samd stripper hd mounted on a 7 wide wheel… I know they recommend a 10 wide wheel. … would I have any issues with a 7 wide wheel ?
