Dealer Shout out!
I called Route 1 and they said to bring in the VR. I did, no testing, very little discussion as I was 6 weeks past warranty.
The Service manager also warned me that a new one will be north of $275.00.
I came home and used this forum to find a "better way"
I ordered Ricks VR for $150.00 not expecting anything from Polaris.
Wonders never cease….. The Service manager at Route 1 Called me and said Polaris will replace it.
This company (Route 1) are great guys, offering knowledgeable advice on service, also on where to go fast. I am happy and confident that they have my back for any future issues (fingers crossed)
Thats it. Not many happy stories these days, but this is one that made my day!

Yet another exhaust thread
Trying to get a real feel for the smart choice on exhaust systems. I’d like to run a tuner (likely a BMP), and it seems that major gains are gained with the exhaust upgrade as well. However, I hate loud pipes. I want good breathing, but as quiet as possible. Some very respected manufacturers claim that the factory header is very good on the XP1K units, so a slip-on is all that is necessary. Others claim an aftermarket header is required. What do you guys think?
Sorry to start another thread on this topic, but I didn’t see one that really addressed the conflicting info. Has anyone run this combo (quiet slip-on, factory header, tuner)? Has any testing been done to show that the louder pipes are more effective? And is anyone confident that the header replacement is necessary?
Thanks!
Tom

Suspension Mods
I have installed Super ATV A-Arms and Radius Rods to my XP1000 running
30" Mongrel’s. I followed all the instructions (or thought I did) but now all my tyres are leaning in at the top 40mm any advise appreciated
