Hey everyone! So I have some questions and I hope you guys can answer them.
– First suspension settings. I bought my 2016 1000 from the dealer and I have not played with the suspension at all. I do a lot of desert riding with the occasional sand dunes. What settings should I set my shocks to? I’ve read a lot about having it stiff in the front and soft in the back. But any insight and how many clicks I should go would be great.
– a friend of mine got me an LED bar for Christmas but it doesn’t come with a wiring kit. What’s a good wiring kit to get and does it come with instructions?
– lastly I’m looking for a windshield. What’s a good scratch resistance windshield that I can take on and off easily?

Is there a trick to getting the 4 helix torx screws out of the secondary clutch on the 14 1000’s? I got one out by heating it up, but the other 3 Ive about stripped out like I did on my last attempt at removing my helix. Ive just been using a propane torch to heat.
So I have been kicking around the idea of buying a performance sxs for the last couple years. Just recently my wife gave me the go ahead to buy one. I have been looking around and I’m stuck between 2 different models. A 2016 RZR XP 1000 or a 2016 Maverick XDS Turbo. I know this is a RZR forum but I am looking for a unbiased opinion. My plans are to use it in PA where I live. I plan on occasionally using it to do light yard work on my 11 acre property. If also like to use it to plow snow from my driveway. Other then that i will be taking it up north to ride coal mines and logging trails. Does any one have experience with both models? Not sure what is the better machine. Obviously the XDS turbo has more power(not a huge concern). Help me out. I’ve never been in a performance sxs only rhinos and Teryx’s. By the way I’m a big guy. 6’1" 300+.

Looking for some help on choosing a light bar. I have the Polaris glass windshield, alum roof, wiper kit and upper doors. Of course I want the most light possible at a fair price. Curious on any other light ideas. I don’t have a front bumper.
Hey guy I’m in the market to get some tires and rims for my highlifter and I’m liking the 32" rocktains with the STI HD5 beadlock rims with orange rings and the full orange center cap. Was hoping for some advice to shop at with out getting rapped. I got a quote from rocky Mountain for 1350.00 so far. And also does anyone know if that orange on the STI rims match the highlifter orange color?

So I spent a ton of time trying to find the right mounts for my 30" TB Led Curved light bar that would work with the Axiom roof.
If you don’t know, the Axiom roof extends past the plastic stock visor. I tried several fixed mounts but they didn’t clear the Axiom roof. To protect the light bar, I didn’t want to mount above the roof. I wanted to be able to use a windshield later. I didn’t want to use the mounts that attached to the roll cage or the ones that went from inside the cab, under the visor.
I ordered a set of adjustable mounts from OSP and found the 4.6" mounts to keep the bar closer to the roof. Even with about 1/8 of space it did not impact the roof over bumps. All said and done, it was about a 15min install and after 2 pretty gnarly rides the mounts have not moved. I realize alot of you guys might be in the same boat and having adjustable mounts just makes sense to get the bar where you want them.
