Brother had a noise and vibration in the front of his brand new xp 1000 so we got to checking it out and narrowed it down to the front diff with a mechanics stethoscope. Pulled it apart along with a 2014 xp1000 diff i installed on my old xp900 that sounded good. After comparing to 2 diffs found that the 2014 had .026 gap between the pinion gear and housing. The 2015 only had .010 gap. Found a shim on the 2015 diff between the pinion bearings and pinion gear. Pulled the shim out which gave it the same amount of clearance as the 2014. Put diff back together, installed it in rzr and the noise and vibration is 100 percent gone.

Where does one obtain a spare tire and wheel for the 2015 RZR 1000? Are they outrageously priced through a Polaris dealer?

I’ve looked at Craigslist and left messages for some sellers that seem to be selling complete sets, but nobody has returned my inquiry yet. Not much that I can find on Ebay, either.

Trying to fix a few of the weakpoints on the machine before next season.

I know I need a spring compressor, but I think I’m going to take it to a local shop to actually install the nut.

What do I need to do to pull the clutch out? Do I need to buy a clutch alignment tool to put it back in?

I haven’t even had the cover off yet so don’t make fun of me if it’s real simple!

When I turn off the ignition I still have power to the lights and the only way to turn them off is by disconnecting the battery
Has any one else had this problem yet

Hello everyone

I had an accident last week, I hit a car in the middle of the desert where you would never think you´ll find a car againts you, anyway, nothing bad happened but I broke the drivers side suspension, I think the only thing I can save is the shock (hopefully).

I’ve been looking over the internet for replacement front a-arms and all I can find I think its expensive, just want to replace the front a-arms but if I can find something better than stock that can replace the stock ones I’ll go for it. I dont race, just cruise at high speeds over the desert.

I have not review yet all the damage, but for now I’ll concentrate on the a-arms and the axle.

I saw this at zbros webpage, its all four front a-arms, 2 inch forward and supposely better than stock, for a good price, what do you think?

Looking at the no limit wheels for a 2015 1000. Can anyone tell me how much width I an gonna gain. would like to stay stock but I don’t think that’s possible.

So i have broke the same front side axle in the same spot for the second time . I certainly don’t bag this thing , trails , mountains & the odd mud when i cant find an alternative way around but i look after this machine & don’t jump it & would expect that when need be , i can hammer it through a mud puddle…and buy mud puddle , that’s exactly what it was…not a hole or stretch of skag , it was a mud puddle , maybe 8 feet across & maybe a foot deep…..
So almost a year to this date , i did get stuck & hammered it in 4 wheel to get out of a mud HOLE , the CV joint closest to the wheel busted the cup on the wheel side & the axle flopped around & punctured the inside of the rim. Polaris warrantied the axle , rim & tire as i had to get out from where i was & ride the flat.
so yesterday , literally out for a Sunday drive down by the river for a fathers day ride , had my buddy’s 6 year old kid with me & punched it through a decent size mud puddle , didn’t get stuck & just as we were getting out , i heard the snap & knew right away. Same friggin side , same friggin spot , busted the CV joint at the wheel again…..i read of guys sheering shafts off clean…whats up with the stock CV joints ?? i have just over 2000 mi on this & the only problems i have had is the front axle…i run tracks in the winter & never a problem…
So ! are upgrading the axles even going to help in this situation ? reading , the upgraded axles are made out of stronger metal..but i don’t see anything about the actual joints them self’s being upgraded or stronger…im kinda skeptical about upgrading anyhow "if" something is going to break , i would rather it be a axle rather than the front diff or something expensive

Anyhow , that’s my rant/experience so far. i have a new axle still from when Polaris warrantied the last one , i bought a new one right away out of pocket so i wasn’t down all last summer . So ill puke that one in , we all know the lengthy warranty process in these situations….& see what they say about this piece of junk….

Does anyone know if someone makes a weld in gusset kit for the upper a arms? I tore the rear mount. The upper rear has a gusset but then the front tab of the rear mounting point does not and I tore that one this weekend hitting a bad washout.

Ive looked at Dragonfire, UTVinc and Racertech and none besides Racertech address that tab. I like the Racertech but don’t really need gussets for all tabs, just mainly that one.

Does anyone sell a door graphics kit for the 2015 rzr 1000 in monochrome that fits the OEM polaris doors?

The only thing i found so far is the Polaris graphics door graphics itself which is $200!
