When i get above 30 MPH the steering shakes bad. Im planning a trip to Mena Ark. and dont need this issue. Air pressure is the same in all tires. Ball joints, bearings and tie rods are in perfect condition. The alignment is spot on with no toe in or out. (maybe my issue) Its lifted and on 33 terms help!
hey guys,
need your help with finding out part replacement, i attached below a photo with marked part, i was trying to find it myself, but I’m not sure what’s the name of it.
How much play is normal on the rear axles at point they goes into the rear diff? I can easily wiggle the drivers side around. (Haven’t checked passenger yet.) It seems to be at the splines and not the CVT.
I’ve read a post where someone said theirs did the same thing, and the dealer said it was normal, but I don’t know what normal is. Is normal a very little bit of play, or enough that would alarm the average person that doesn’t know any better?
I just bought this used ’14 1000, 450 miles, and I’m trying to get it ready for a Moab trip and the rear diff had very little fluid in it. Maybe 10 ounces, though not as much metal shavings as I expected though. Before the fluid change, and before I knew it was low, I took it to an off-road park for a few hours and everything seemed to work fine, but I have nothing to compare it to noise wise.

New rzr highlifter 275 km and clutch exploded Polaris won’t warenty they say exssesive heat is the cause so looking for the best clutch to replace with any suggestions
Just put on gates belt very impressed with to pull compared to factory belt. Polaris belt never pulled like this belt even when new. However belt temp seems to be running slightly higher with gates vs the OEM belt. During break in this morning it would run 15 to 20 degrees warmer than OEM belt. Was getting temps on alba gauge ranging from 145 to 155. OEM never ran above 135 or so driving it the way I was while breaking belt in. Anyone else experience temp changes. My guess it’s due to different belt compound.
Will after two trips to Colorado screwed up I guess Ill take my xp1k back to my dealer in Oklahoma and see if he can keep it running. I may have to bring my 2011 800-S back for the forum ride at Taylor Park. Found another xp1k along side the road yesterday between Pitkin and Tincup doing the same thing as mine. Drive it 30 minutes then starts to cut out then just shuts off like I turned the key off, let it set a few minutes it starts right back up and then we start this run 10 minutes shuts off then runs another 10 minutes and shuts off all the way back to the trailer. Yes I have pulled on the wires but no change, Polaris has to know about this, there is so many post on here about this problem. My wife wants me to trade it in on 2016 xp1k but, fool me once its your fault fool me twice its my fault !!!!!!!! So many little problems. Polaris checked how I was driving it and found 90% of the time I was at less than 30% throttle. Its not like I am driving the crap out of it. Thank You, This was Just a VENT thing to blow off Steam.
