My XP has only 62 hours on it. Today while driving it the engine EFI light and a light that looks like a steering wheel with an exclamation symbol came on. Simultaneously the power steering stopped working.
That steering wheel light in shown in the manual, but it does not say what it is for. 🙁
manual says if the EFI light comes on, don’t drive it, take it to a dealer.
Anyone have a clue what all this means?
Ok so have any of you had an engine oil leak somewhere low on the motor?
I thought yesterday that I had the tranny leak but after looking at the oils and checking levels I have found that my transmission is full and my motor is about a half a quart low. Does the pan leak on these? It seam as thought it is dripping somewhere to get on the driveline and spin it all over the clutch cover and pan as well as the drivers side trailing arm and shock. Does anyone know where I should be looking for this leak.
It has 245 miles on it and I have already done the break in oil change at 180 miles/20 hours.

Just picked up my new 2015 1000 today and took it for a quick rip around the house before I parked it in the garage, came out to check it out in the morning and noticed a puddle of oil on the floor under the rear end. Appears to be gear oil and I can’t see the exact location but looks like it’s coming from the top of the rear diff. Not very impressed but taking it back on Monday to get it checked out. I have 6 Miles on this machine.

I filled out my info and mailed it to his dealer, they filled in the rest and turned it in. He got $100 off and I got $50.
