(Request) Rear axle replacement how-to

Does anyone have a video or write up on replacing Rear axles on the 1000. I have Rhinos on their way and never replaced axles before. A list of tools would be helpful also cause I’m gonna have to borrow some I’m sure. I don’t have a lot of my own tools especially the bigger stuff. Thanks for any help!!

Cracked clutch…cause and replacement opinions? (VENDORS TOO PLEASE)

Morning.

Peeled my XP apart on the weekend and found the inner sheave had a substantial crack in it. Dealer wants $700 for a stock replacement. If I have to replace the clutch, I’m not going to spend it on a stock replacement. I may as well upgrade at the same time.

So three questions then…

1. What are possible causes of a crack like this? I was riding in very hot conditions 2 weeks ago and doing a large number of water crossings. Could hot/cold contraction cycles do that?

2. Maybe a silly question, but if the clutch cover is on and vented properly and I’m not in water deeper than the intake, where does it get in from?

3. What are my aftermarket clutch options? (VENDORS CHIME IN – IM LOOKING TO BUY 🙂 ) I ride mountain trails primarily here in the Rockies of Alberta but I do make twice yearly trips to the dunes in Idaho and Glamis as well as a yearly Moab trip so i want something thats either adjustable or broad enough to work well across these applications.

Thanks for your time.

Harness comfort question

Looking for honest, candid feedback.

As someone who gets in and out of our RZR a lot while riding (taking pictures, visiting, eating snacks, etc), how much of a hassle is it to get in and out of harnesses as compared to the seat belts?

The seat belts are kind of second nature and probably adequate for our type of riding. But they are quite uncomfortable on the neck after about 30 or 40 miles.

Only thinking of four-point right now…

Thanks in advance!
