Zbroz Racing tunable Anti sway bar kit!! NEW PRODUCT..

Just about to have these kits back from machining and plating. They are super easy to install and have a huge tuning advantage with 7 hole positions. You can tune the torsion bar for short coarse, Dessert, Dune or even rock crawling. Testing and development has been over the last year or more to find the correct bar and system. Its now available for pre order and will be in stock very soon. Here is the link which will be updated to in stock very soon. Call to pre order. More images to come very soon.

One more note we are selling it with our sway bar link rods but if you already have a high strength non stock link rod it will be available without those..FYI
It doesn’t work properly without a better than stock link rod.

Chain Tensioner Truth?

It seems the more I read this forum, the more I think is wrong with my XP1K.
So, here is the question:
Have YOU had a problem with YOUR timing chain jumping teeth on startup?

I’m asking about you and you only. Not your wife’s cousin’s brother-in-law.

If you did have this problem:
What was the result?
Did it happen under warranty?
Did Polaris fix it?
What, if anything did it cost you?

I don’t mind spending money to prevent a problem, but I hate chasing ghosts.
Thanks in advance for the input fellas!

Howdy

Just made the plunge with my first RZR. 2015 monochrome white XP1000. Hope to learn a lot from here and not do too many dumb things.

Shock Review needed

I found a set of WE 2.5 for sale for a good price and I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on them. Seller states they have 500 miles on them.

Does anyone have a set that they care to tell me about their experience with them?

rzr cylnder head flow #s and results

Ok guys, since the so called "rzr head goo roo" didn’t know any rzr head flow numbers my guy did some investigation for you rzr owners who would like to know…below are the actual flow bench results on an untouched 1000 head and then his ported 900 head, I will get the before numbers for the 900 soon, All these numbers are performed on a calibrated flow bench at 28" of water on the column and max flowed upto .500" of valve lift…

Stock flow for 1000 rzr head below

.500 lift 288 cfm
.450 lift 281
.400 lift. 271
.350 lift. 259
.300 lift. 330
.250 lift. 198
.200.lift. 166
.150 lift 133.5
.100.lift. 91

Ported rzr 900 head below

.500 lift. 303 cfm
.450 lift. 300
.400 lift. 288
.350 lift. 272
.300 lift. 243
.250 lift 215.5
.200 lift. 178
.150 lift. 138
.100 lift. 92

the 1000 head will outflow the 900 head, because the port is .250 wider. The only problem is the chamber needs alot more work than the 900 head This just proves that most of these guys are just guessing, dont know how to port, or dont have a flow bench

Direct Towing Your RZR

I have a potential need to two my Rzr about 1/2 mile to my dune entrance. The trick is I have a design that will allow me to lift the rear wheels off the ground (due to paddle tires) and tow the unit backwards.

Does any know if this can be done in neutral without any driveline issues? Front wheels will be the only ones rolling.

High Wear Items

2 Part Question:
I was wondering, from you guys who have experience doing long trips in your XP1K, what are some of the ‘high wear" items? Things I should keep an eye on and / or bring with me on a long trip through, say, Baja or something…
2nd Part: What do you bring with you on long, multi day trips in the way of tools, spare parts, ect.
I’ve already got a handle on H2O, food and beer…
Thanks for your input!
