I’m in the market for an xp1000. There are a lot of low miles 2014 xp1k around me and they’re starting to look pretty good compared to a 2015/16. So what all did they change? Any reason I should opt for the newer model?

So I searched for someone with the same issue but was unable to find anything that relates….
I noticed on the drive home the other day after riding , there was oil in the inner front driver side fender wall….had a closer look & it was dripping from the bottom end of the front driver side shock.
I don’t crank the suspension down when I secure it on the trailer…anyone have this issue or know a fix ?

If you were presented with the opportunity to swap some parts on a 2014 rzr 1000 for some parts from a 2015 1000 that is destined for the scrap compactor, what would you change out?

Got the intake covers. I like the 2015’s with the frog skins on the outside of the cover vs. behind the grating.

Really considering the 2015 clutch cover/breather. Can anyone verify the new cover fits on the old style housing? What I mean is will a 2015 "new" cover bolt up to the engine side clutch cover of a 2014?

Hey I figured some of you here may have upgraded from a modded 900xp and could give an honest opinion.

For $15-17k I seem to be able to get a fully modded 900xp (30" tires, arms, king shocks, seats, doors, pipe)

Or a stock 1000xp.

Which is gonna give me more bang/fun for the buck? Keeping in mind a broken machine is no fun lol

I ride the mucky north woods of MN.

P.S. I seem to be able to pick up a stock 900xp for $9-10k, is that plus 30" tires, axles, clutch and minor engine mods gonna be 90% as good as a 1000?
