I’ve been searching and haven’t found a recent thread on rzr1000 doors. I want full doors or a high quality lower filler. My budget is 400$ I’ll be making my own graphics, this seems to get me bling star doors, super ATV door skins or a bunch of options for lower door panels.
I’m lean toward bling star as I like the look but I need some feedback. Unfortunately I just missed their Christmas sale. I’ve heard some of the negatives associated with the business but I’m looking for good doors.
What do you guys recommend and what are you running? How are they holding up? I’m not a huge fan of lowers because most don’t follow the body lines.
So I just did the 25 mile oil change on my new high lifter. Bought the oil change kit from my local dealer. It came with 2 and a half quarts of oil and a filter. I read that it takes 2 and1/2….not! the level on the dipstick is to the serial numbers on the dipstick! Im reading on the forum some peeps are using the 2 and a half and some say 2.quarts is too much. When I drained the highlifter, It didnt look like 2 and a half quarts. So how much does it really hold???? Why would polaris sell me an extra 1/2 quart bottle in the kit.
So, I got 46 miles on my 15 XP1K. Just been plowing and doing ditch riding with it and haven’t had any problems. Today I took it up on the road and gave it her the nuts to see how fast I could go. Well, at 50-60 mph the engine surges/misses. It’s inconsistent and kind of feels like fuel starvation. It only does it when I’m on the road under WOT. If I’m in the ditch riding through the snow at WOT it doesn’t do it.
I have a 2015 rzr 1000 with a Alba Stage 1 kit installed. I started to notice a skip or sputter at low to mid range. Now it is very hard to start and idles @2400 rpm’s and then cuts off. Does anyone have an idea what to check or where to start? Thanks in advanced.
So my brand new xp 1000 has just over 35 miles on it. Did the whole power wash deal and got the 84-2, 84-19 codes are up. I haven’t tried the whole drive in low @ 3000 for a few minutes to see if it resets itself. I guess I’m more concerned if i should try the dealer for warranty purposes. Has anyone figured out a fix for this, searching around i didn’t really locate a sure thing.
Technically I’ve got an xp4 1000, but this page gets a bit more traffic. Im trying to get an idea if anyone knows the spring rates and length(s) for the racer tech replacement spring kit?
Their calculator recommends I use "medium" springs form them, but without knowledge of the rates I have a hard time making an educated decision. In the past to gain high speed stability, or performance, my low speed "plushness" would be sacrificed.
Hoping to accomplish both as I may ride 15 MPH with my daughter in the machine, or have 4 full sized adults hitting whoops as fast as I can.
So I just picked up my 2016 XP 1000 and now I am planning on ordering 30" HL Radial Outlaws on MSA Kores. I have ran these tires on two different ATVs in the 28" version and loved them. I ride mostly trails that have a good mix of rocks, mud, and creek crossings (nothing to wild) as well as driving my kids around the ranch to check on the cattle. I plan to give Hunterworks a call to order a clutch kit.
My question, will this set up add to much weight? I ride mostly slow but would like to kick the speed up from time to time. I also plan to add a winch and skid plates. Will the Dalton clutch kit take care of the added weight of this set up?
So I have a 2015 900s that has Polaris aluminum roof and half windshield, I just went down and bought a 2015 1000xp picking it up Friday as the dealer still needs to build it, I’m wondering if the roof and windshield from the 900s will fit the 1000xp or do I need to buy new? Thanks for any help! Can’t wait to get the 1000 out in desert!
Looking to get some new sway bar links and there is 100 different brands… What’s everyone running and what’s the best? Bushing vs heims and solid vs adjustable?
