I have a rzr 800s with a s3 3" bracket lift and I found a deal some outkast forward arched a a-arms an rear a-arms with the 3" lift built in the upper arms. My question is can I stack these lifts to make 6"s of lift if I run my Springs soft with after market axles? I’ve asked a few people but I can’t get a definite yes or no answer. I’ll be running a 32 or 33 inch tire so I’m needing more lift.
So, the gas station I usually gas up at, no longer carries 92 octane. Even tho the sticker on the pump advertised "Ethanol Free", There’s always trace amounts. Now I’m stuck with 89, even 87 at times to run in my machine, which has a minimum of 10%
I believe in Lucas, Amsoil, and Marvel Mystery Oil… I suppose now I should keep some ethanol remover in my shop, not only for the RZR, but all my toys and yard machines.
I have a 2009 S with stock podium shocks and King Progressive springs (not sure exactly which ones as they came with it when I bought it). On my most recent ride I had some of the others following me comment that my rear tires bounce off the ground a lot when I am hitting whoops. I didn’t realize that was happening, but I knew that the rebound was pretty harsh on the rougher stuff. I took a quick look a the podiums and there appears to be an adjustment screw on them. Is that for rebound like on a quad? I have ready many of the post on here about what are the best shocks, but I am hoping that I can just adjust my podiums or maybe have them revalved? I know the King springs are good, but what do you guys suggest I do? I would like to get a smoother ride over the rough stuff if possible without having to spend $1000s.

I’ve noticed a film of oil in the air box after a ride. Engine does not smoke after startup so I’m wondering if this in considered normal OR the dreaded dust problem everyone has encountered. Machine is a 2011 RZR S with 1,700 miles.
I plan to perform a compression test this weekend and I have already purchased the UTV Inc. air cleaner housing to install.
Polaris Prospector Pro SR Tracks are on. The rear are straight front to back. (toe-in/out). However lean in at the top, (negative Camber) causing them not to sit flat on the bottom. The passenger front is good, but the drivers is same as the back… leaned in.
Tech told me there was no info about suspension in the installation manual. I cannot find any info. He said they are leaning because of the 2" lift.
I give up on the dealer finally. I am having trouble making sense of this.
If I stiffen the shocks, it should raise the machine, if I loosen it should lower. WTH does the lift have to do with the negative camber? With the shock mounted to the lower arm, would have nothing to do with camber right?
Before I start cranking on the shocks I’m hoping someone has some input.
Im afraid running the tracks in negative camber will cause rapid camber wear…
So i think i have a regulator going bad, i have done some searching across the forum and wanted to see if anyone had ore thoughts on it. I haven’t done any test on the bike as of yet, been busy with work.
Took the bike off the trailer started fine, went riding shut the bike off wouldn’t restart, jumped the bike with cables, and didn’t shut it the rest of the night. Gauge cluster would show 9.4-10.4 volts with the accessories on(light bar, stereo). shut them off and the voltage would go off the screen. Bike ran fine the rest of the night, didn’t shut it off ran fine. Finally get back to the trailer shut it off and then restarted it to load it and started right up. could this be a voltage regulator issue?
Since RacerTech doesn’t offer their weld in gusset kit any longer, has anyone found any other FULL gusset kits available for our models? Mine is a basic 2014…Thanks
I have a 2014 800S and want to use a spare tire carrier. Not sure what to get or where to get it. Would like to keep the bed space and have seen some bumpers with carriers. Do you have any suggestions as to who to use? I need something pretty simple to install.
Thanks in advance.
