new 4s owner

Well I’m a new owner of a 2012 800 4s Robby Gordon edition. I am currently researching my issues and how to fix them.

So who does everyone recommend for axles, rebuild my stock fox shocks, and clutch kit?

I just broke a axle last night. I run 29" tires, and do wood riding, no hardcore jumping or mud pits. Just me my son and wife. I’d like something to adapt to my bigger tires. I have a power commander and that’s pretty much it for power adder.

Just want a gd reliable upgrades to keep it going

Been a great Christmas

Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. First time all the kids and spouses were home for the holidays. Had a great family meal. My only wish is that everyone got along and for the first time in years we had success! From my family to yours we wish yous guys the same!

Year and changes of RzR S

Hey everyone, new here (1st post)

I have pretty much decided I want a RzR s (sold my sled). I have found a few but have not went to look yet. Here are 2 in question.

2010 LE Orange Madness with low kms. Only 2200 kms on it with a few accessories. It also has the fox shocks which I like. Again, havent seen it yet, going to see it this weekend. Can grab this unit as a decent price.

2012 RzR. What ever model I choose it will have the fox podiums on it. There are a few around for a bit more money in this year but I dont want to overpay as I would just add more money and get a 900 (dont want a payment though)

I guess I want to know the pro’s and con’s on the model years. is one model year that much better? So aside from the obvious like condition and kms what is the main difference in these 2 years? Was there much change?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Differential lock nut

I noticed that the 800/S and 800/4 both seem to be prone to differential failures due to lock nuts coming loose. Is this still a problem? I ask because I haven’t noticed any recent posts about failures. I also called my local Polaris service department and asked. They didn’t have any service bulletins on the subject, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t a problem…

Battery is shot time for upgade

The battery on my 2014S has died it was expected to happen sooner or later. In my 2010 RZR I replaced the battery with a Odyssey which was a great decision. My problem is that I can’t remember if I need to purchase brackets for the new odyssey battery to work in a 2014 in the Stock hole without cutting up the box. Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

tranny swap

Put a hole in the main case. So i bought a new tranny and service manual for it. The book says you have to pull the engine and tranny to do the swap. CAN you just pull the tranny without taking everything out? 2011 rzr s le
