A plumber friend made me a wand that consist of a female hose fitting a ball valve and a 30" piece of 3/8 soft copper. He bent the tube at a 90 degree angle and squeezed the end together. The wand acts like a pressure washer but hooked to a hose. The 90 degree end allows you to get in places you can’t with a hose. I drive my RZRs up some ramps on my tailgate to clean the underside. Also makes it easy to clean the skid plate you can get the end in the service holes and spray the mud/dirt off. It works great in tight places you just can’t get with a hose. Also works good for cleaning the radiator.
Just thought I would pass it along.
Was out riding last week and noticed my coolant temp was high, pulled over and pulled my hood off just in time for coolant to start spraying out of my overflow bottle. Rzr shut down a second later due to the high temp shut down. Waited a while and pulled my radiator cap, topped up with more coolant until full. Started a few times to check the temp, ended up waiting about 45 minutes or more. Hopped in put it in high and the thing would not go, put it in low and barely limped it back to my truck. Was very similar to the limp mode my rzr went into a couple years ago, no engine light or high heat light after cool down. Any ideas what I could be looking at here? Tps sensor, top end? Anybody run into this before? Can’t get my baby in to the shop until late in the week, driving me crazy wondering…
My 2014 S at WOT 5950 to 6000 RPM, about 55 mph downhill. Doesn’t seem to pull very hard on the low end (kinda weak). Throttle linkage is good clutches and belt seem fine very clean. Is this just normal? Or can I improve the performance?
I’m sure this has been asked before but I just purchased a 2010 800s and top speed is about 35 to 45 they said it had a clutch kit installed in it how can I tell I got the cover pulled off to the clutch I’m a mechanic but lost on these thanks
So I’m heading to silver lake sand dunes here in Michigan. I am debating on getting paddles tires or not getting them and just running my stock ones. I read all over that the stock bighorn are just as good. Do I buy some or don’t I buy any. Thanks
Anyone know of a supplier of rear diff hard parts? Need ring and pinion and all bearings. All parts suppliers I found show serviced as assembly. Checked my rear diff fluid and has metal in it. Can see excessive wear on teeth. Guessing pinion loose. Any info is appreciated.
Hello everyone, when taking off slowly, what are the RPMS on your machine before it starts moving? I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my machines.
Im looking at buying a 2013 rzr s with eps. Does this model come with ebs? Also is $11,000 too much for this. Its almost completely stock and looks well cared for. Still under warranty. Im looking at new machines also but this one caught my eye. Im in the market for a 900 trail but this would save me several thousand
