Now the rzr is running high temps. I replaced the water pump seal and now the temp goes up to about 230 then I shut it off, I think I need to burp the cooling system. I lifted the rzr as high as I could get it and opened the radiator cap and antifreeze started to shoot out. My question is does anyone have a quick/easy way to purge the air out?
So im replacing the 4 studs that mounts the trans to the motor…if anyones been that deep before youd know the trans slides on to the motor then the studs are installed…stupid design but it is what it is. Instead of pulling the motor and trans out as one i went a different route and removed the studs and slid my motor to the side to access the sheard off stud. Im thinking of replacing them now with grade 8 red loctited bolts, any thoughts?

Ok. So I never really have taken my rzr out since it got really warm out. So last week I took out the rzr and it ran fine most of the day. Till around late noon in the peak of the heat. The idle on the rzr was low when I fired up from taking a break. Like I mean the rpm. It still runs fine to my knowledge. But the low idle bothers me. I took it out this weekend and the same thing. Ran fine all morning till it got really hot out. Then low idle. The rzr was at half tank in both times, just for ideas. Any ideas please?
I did install after market spark arresters since this starting happening. FYI.
SO about 6 months ago I changed my fuel pump to an airtex.
It’s already dead.
I took it out today and it’s for sure dead, I could take it back to auto zone for a new one but, now the lower "filter" i’ll call it that screens the fuel pickup is torn apart and no good.
IS there any solution for this mess of a no good design? I’ll also say that a few of the wires are "exposed" and the insulation is torn back enough for me to see the wires a bit.
I really do appreciate any help, would like to get this $15k paper weight running right so I can have confidence in it.
This past weekend while riding my 800s was overheating because the cooling fan wasn’t turning off/on at correct temperatures. Sometimes the fan wouldn’t kick on til 215 then shut off at 210 and wouldn’t come back on til like 220 and shut off at some random temp. It should be coming on at 204 and shutting off at 194. Tried replacing thermostat to no avail. Had adequate coolant. Any suggestions?
I have a charging system fail somewhere and need help. I got in it saterday and backed it out and it said low volts 10.x. Before I could make it to my shop a mile up the road it started cutting out i just thought bad batter. I load tested them both battaries are bad. Went got 2 new ones and went on a ride and an hour later same thing. Could it be a short on after market electonics, voltage regulator, or stator. Need help figureing it out.
OK I have searched a bit and I have yet to find anyone saying that the belt noise gets louder the faster you go.
My 2013 800 S belt noise is really loud especially over 20 mph and up. I also have a 2013 800 50" and it is nowhere near this loud.
It is so loud that you almost have to yell to hear each other in the cab.
Is there anything I should look at specifically to resolve this before I start tearing it apart not knowing what to look for?
It has been doing it for a full season and about 600 miles. The machine only has 1000 mile on it. I would really like to resolve this because the wife really does not like it!
